My Style: Dinner with the Girls in Milan

I do love a great midi, even more so when you through in a cool animal print and add in some leather. While in Milan for my Marina Rinaldi #WomenAreBack Campaign Launch, I wanted to play in my new skirt that I scored from Dorothy Perkins. If you are following me on Instagram (@MarieDenee) then you have seen, but today I share the deets!

Pardon the cell phone low light pics! My Style in Milan

Headed to dinner with quite a few of the stylish plus size bloggers, I knew that I had to make sure I stepped out in style. To do so, I married my midi skirt with my new favorite top EVER from Marina Rinaldi. A leather and ponte knit tee! WOOT! I imagine that you will see me in this top a few times over this fall! WATCH.

However, for this dinner date, I rocked out with my latest buy from Susan Moses; I literally bought them off of her, these L.A.M.B. Booties. I loved the platform and the textures, I was way to geeked about them and she asked me if I wanted to buy them from her- eagerly I obliged! 🙂

My tee was shortened, just a smidge and is the same top you see in my campaign photo below! Shortened to hit right at the top of my hip. I love the structure of it paired with my midi… rock and roll but chic- yes?

You can cop this skirt, like I did, for ONLY $22 NOW! Move fast yo! Buy it HERE!

As for this midi skirt from Dorothy Perkins? Plenty of room for the hips things, and tummy, I loved the way the lines of this skirt played on the thighs… While there are many ways to play with this, I HAD to  funk it up a bit… In this skirt there is room to play and have a little fun with, especially since Dorothy Perkins only goes up to a US 18.

What do you think of this look? Is this one you could see yourself in? How would you wear these two items?
