Me and linen are friends.

We used to have a love hate relationship with it, but now, I love it. Living in the desert, linen allows my skin can breathe. I like the soft tailoring, but most of all, I love its evolution. I used to hate wearing it because of its constant creasing and wrinkling, although this is its natural state, BUT with today’s technology and innovations, plus size linen has been blended to fashion great pieces.
Popular during the summer and resort season, linen pieces are necessary in my life. I have a few pieces in my closet that get rocked during the 100+ degree weather, here in Southern California. A few blazers, a skirt, and a few pairs of pants- I am ready and am happy about this too!

But, even though I LOVE IT, I wonder if you do?
Blending with silk, cotton, hemp, and other natural fibers, you will find linen outfits plenty available in various quality levels and styles!

Here are a few tips when Shopping for it:
- Fit is key. Especially as linen naturally wrinkles (you can find some designers who finish it with a special coating) linen will show everything, especially if it is not lined.
- With wear, especially with pants, linen has a tendency to relax with wear. Note this as you are shopping!
- Linen suits are sooo sharp in the summer- so do not be shy when trying them on! From white to neutral, black, navy and brown you can find linen suits everywhere!
- The Fabric can be sheerer, so make sure you rock the proper undergarments, as to not show all your business!

Linen and I….I LOVE linen. It’s also a dream to sew. Wrinkles don’t bother me – I figure you paid for ’em…flaunt ’em! I especially love silk and linen blend, but don’t get near any sort of grease or oil while wearing.
You are soooo right!!!
I love the look of linen when I see items hanging on coathangers, but I absolutely can’t stand how wrinkly it gets when I wear it so i pretty much never do.
I know!!! I am soooooooooooooo torn!
Add flax to your choices for warm weather wear. I am a wash & wear girl and wrinkles are part of my look. My body can breathe. I am comfortable and cool, in more ways than one.
Yes, flax and HEMP! Hemp pieces are just soooo lovely too! I am sooo happy you and I are >>here<<
Love linen on, but it never survives to a second wearing. I’m a wash and wear kinda girl.
