Currently Reading in Our Plus Size Book Club: Can’t Get Enough
Oh, this one? This is for the women who have built the life, handled the business, showed up for everybody else and are absolutely not looking for a man to become another item on the to-do list.
In Can’t Get Enough, Kennedy Ryan gives us Hendrix Barry, an ambitious, successful woman with big dreams, a full life and very little interest in rearranging any of it for romance. She’s building her empire, showing up for her family and navigating the emotional weight of caring for an aging parent. Love? The ROI has been questionable at best.
And then Maverick Bell walks in.
He’s successful, fine, attentive and, perhaps most dangerously, actually capable of keeping up. But this is Kennedy Ryan, so we’re not getting romance without some complications. Hendrix has to wrestle with desire, ambition, caregiving, vulnerability and whether making room for love has to mean making herself smaller.

Because Can’t Get Enough isn’t just asking whether Hendrix can have it all. It’s asking a much juicier question: What happens when a woman who has spent her life taking care of business meets a man who wants to take care of her without asking her to give up a damn thing?
