A few weeks ago, Asos Curve dropped a body con dress that had the blog o sphere aflutter. I shared the dress along with others and voila it sold out. No sooner than I bought it was I contacted by fellow blogging sweetheart, BellaStyles who wanted to fashion a montage of the different ways to rock this dress!
So immediately, I had to share with you one, how I wore it and my thoughts and then two, how others played it up! I wanted to be sophisticated with an edge. AND I did not want my dress to compete with anything else. Are you ready to check it out? Okay, here we go:
The ASOS Curve Black and White Graphic Dress
I rocked this dress to a friend’s 30th Birthday party at The Room in Santa Monica. Interestingly enough, I jumped from red to green shoes! But I will show you and share… I ordered the size 16 or UK 20 as I have noticed the bodycon dresses from ASOS are on the generous side of fit. Had this dress NOT been a bold pattern, I may have played in the 14 to give you an idea.
I love this dress and how comfortable it is. Initially, I thought that the dress would give me issues with wearing a bra or shape wear underneath with how low the back falls on the model. In production, It is not as bad as thought! Good.
I paired gunmetal and silver accessories to give it some flair! BUT, I did let my nails do the talking in these blinged out zebra nail polish stickers from NailBliss.com. Initially I had planned on these red heels from Justfab online, but then I changed my mind in the car, on the way and rocked these Green heels I scored from Ideeli (some time back!).
And now for the other ways to rock the SAME dress, thanks to Bella from BellaStyles, Cassandra of Curvaceous Boutique and Nekiah of From the Rez To the City. All rocking the dress in their own way, in their own style!
What do you think? Do we like the many ways of this dress? Do we like the style and fit? Let me know! Leave a comment with your thoughts!
