Soooo somewhere I missed a day. I think Thursday? Yeah… that day was a wash. I forgot to take pics on this day… However… We did get Friday Night, at the Indie show and today, I am sharing with you my look from the Boss Brunch I was invited to! There was just ONE rule in attending this event:
So… Um. I leaped across the color chart and sashayed my behind into the event in my new Body Con Dress gifted to me from Marina Rinaldi. I did just rock this a few weeks back, BUT no pics were taken of the ENTIRE look, so I thought I needed to rock it out again to make it real.
So, I had featured this dress as a Gotta Have earlier this month, especially as it is more contemporary than its other pieces… I mean a body con red dress? Hello! And then, I was invited to come down to their LA Beverly Hills Boutique and play around in their pieces, choosing looks to rock to their Women In Film Sponsored Awards #humbled. So, I chose this red dress from their Body Con Collection and brought this bad dress with me to FFFWeek! I had to!
Since this event I was headed to on this day was a daytime event, I paired my dress with neutral Sam Edelman cork heels ( I got these over a year ago) and a woven clutch I scored for $40 from DSW! Thanks to Gaelle who snapped these pics of me! But… let me tell you about this dress:
- The Fabric? A divine weight. A little heavier than what you would expect out of a bodycon dress, but I LOVE it. This dress is a blend of Viscose/nylon/elastane.
- The Fit? Like a glove, but not too snug. JUST enough to show the curves without showing all of your business. I can dig that!
- I especially love the length on me. Sexy AND lady-like is how I am feeling in this one!
If you are loving this dress too, then please visit Bloomingdales to cop yours too!
A Little hint, when ordering this item, pay attention to its sizing: M=1X; L=2X; XL=3X. I am wearing a size M in this one!
This whole week was filled with fashion, sass and class! So much so, check out the looks in this Week’s Looks We Love: FFFWeek Edition AND my recap for Styleblazer!
