Shopping for people can be challenging, especially if the person is the nostalgic one of your group. Many of us wouldn’t know where to begin because it’s been years since we’ve seen Tamagotchi’s, Pokemon cards, etc. So what exactly can you do? Well, we’ve got you covered! We put together nine nostalgic gift ideas that will be sure to please anyone.
It’s officially Pride month! Before your timelines get totally flooded with rainbows, it seemed like a good time to let you know that one of the country’s oldest and biggest plus size retailers, Lane Bryant, has released it’s Pride Collection!
Representation in the LGBTQ community can tend to skew on the smaller side. This has made inclusive queer fashion hard to find for larger-bodied folks. With sizing up to a 40 and pieces that could work for both femme and more masculine-leaning babes, this collection is the perfect way to express your pride this month!
For the second year, Lane Bryant will celebrate positivity, inclusivity, and love with the help of celebrity (and Columbus-local) drag queen Nina West. Nina will partner with Lane Bryant for a video series, all month long, on Lane Bryant’s digital media channels, kicking off Pride month in style!
Through the six-video series that will drop throughout the month of June, Lane Bryant and West will empower everyone to create their lane in their own way while encouraging all to love out loud and “Say it with Pride.”
“Partnering with Lane Bryant is a big deal. I am honored to be working with a brand that allows people like me to feel comfortable, confident, and sexy in their own skin. Standing in your truth and power is what I am all about, and it is what Lane Bryant stands for, too. Together, we have the chance to help share this message of positivity and love with so many.”Nina West
This year’s collection includes dedicated accessories, LIVI activewear, tees, and limited-edition denim apparel, in addition to Cacique Intimates and swimwear. Lane Bryant also will continue their support of GLSEN, a national education organization working to create safe and inclusive K-12 schools for all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, by donating $30K to the organization.
“It is of the utmost importance to lead with love while celebrating our Lane Bryant community daily,”
“For us, Pride is a wonderful time to celebrate love, positivity, and inclusion. We find so many synergies with Nina’s personal brand of kindness and know her positivity will inspire our customers to ‘Say it with Pride’ all month long.”said Lexy Onofrio, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Lane Bryant.
