DKNY: New York MODS
If there is any designer whose aesthetic I am constantly drawn to, draw inspiration from, or am constantly rocking- it is DKNY. I have been in love with this designer for the longest time as one who UNDERSTANDS a woman’s body, embodies the effortless chic, and contemporary cool time and time again.
For Fall 2011, DKNY introduced a quite refreshing collection, New York MODS, set in brick laden backdrop of the Chelsea studio. Strong tailoring, crisp lines, modern textures in black, grey, navy, and cream with contrasting pops of Lipstick, Tangella, Henna, Foundation, and Blush; the Fall 2011 DKNY Collection played right to my fashionable heart strings. Plaids, boucle, and furs galore accented the looks down to the platform and stacked heels completed the entire collection from head to toe.
Please enjoy as much as I did sitting throughout the show as I share some of my favorite looks from DKNY Fall 2011:

What I loved:
Crisp and fluid suiting contrasted a playful and laid back boho luxe in a color blocked sheer maxi. Textured little black dresses refreshed our classic ones. Sharp capes that wore like COATS took my breath away!
