We Try Out Kohl’s FLX, Their New Inclusive & Sustainable Activewear Brand

As a plus size woman who is very active and works out a lot, finding activewear is extremely important, especially finding quality items that provide longevity when I cycle, do cardio, or Pilates. So when I had the opportunity to try out Kohl’s FLX for myself, I jumped at the chance.

The main factors for my ideal activewear are comfortability and if my pants stay up while exercising. Having to stop and adjust my pants or sports bra is the most annoying thing when being active!

I had the pleasure of having a first look at Kohl’s new private label activewear FLX. I received several pieces and was able to truly wear them and be active. My package contained a pair of leggings, sports bra, tee, windbreaker jacket, book bag, and sunglasses. I wore the FLX Affirmation High-waisted leggings, FLX Ascent Low-Impact Sports Bra, and FLX Harmony Front Tee Shirt.

As a size 18 (XL) everything fit true to size and with a little extra room.

FLX is available exclusively at Kohl’s and includes over 60 items across men’s and women’s activewear, with prices ranging from $20-$125.

They also made sure to make the sizing inclusive – ranging from regular sizes to plus size and big & tall sizing. Available in plus sizes 1X-4X!

The entire FLX collection was made using sustainable methods and materials in every product, including sustainably sourced materials cotton, recycled polyester, recycled nylon, and organic cotton.

My Thoughts On Kohl’s FLX

My workout routine consisted of 30 minutes of Pilates, 10-minute arms, and a 10-minute full-body stretch. While exercising, the fabric felt soft, comfortable, and breathable, and I didn’t have to adjust my leggings or bra once!

After the workout, my clothes weren’t sticking to my skin, and I was not in a rush to take them off. The windbreaker is interchangeable; you can wear it to the gym or with a pair of joggers and your favorite comfortable shoes.

It also has my favorite detail, POCKETS!!!

This new Kohl’s collection isn’t just for the active person but for the person who wants to be comfortable while doing daily activities.
