When news of a Victoria Beckham and Target collaboration made its way through the fashionista grapevine, I’ll admit it… I was not expecting to see curvy girls represented in the line. I for one am willing to say that I was W-R-O-N-G wrong, and quite frankly, pleasantly surprised that her collection WILL include plus sizes. And by “pleasantly surprised“, I mean OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!
It looks like Target has heard our call and cry! We have been wanting more plus size fashion included in their designer collaborations and this one has me doing body rolls in my chair. Joining a roster of Target Designer collaborations that include Missoni, Alexander McQueen, and Prabal Gurung, Victoria had no trepidation about entering into this relationship with Target and we are hyped for this!
Inspired by the upbeat charm of her own Victoria, Victoria Beckham line, she celebrates the shared experiences between herself and her daughter. The result is a look that’s fashionable, yet free-spirited and timeless.
This MASSIVE collection of over 200 styles was a long time coming. “I’ve been having conversations with Target for quite a few years about working with them,” Victoria said about Victoria Beckham for Target. “I started it in 2011 when I was pregnant with Harper.”
Launching in stores and on Target.com, April 9th, the collection features poplin, peplum, satin and scallops, gingham and green lace and festive florals fitting for spring time. The collection includes apparel and accessories for both women and children, and it marks Victoria’s first foray into designing for children. This makes this collection even more special because both you and your little ones can be fly on the ‘gram with their Victoria Beckham on!

First Look: Victoria Beckham x Target
She shared that the inspiration for this collection was fairy tales. Like the stories, she shares with her daughter. Indeed, it was her relationship with daughter Harper that was present on her mind through the creation of the line.
“This is celebrating my relationship with my daughter, and I think it’s great that other women can do exactly the same. The inspiration behind this campaign was a world of possibilities–make-believe, imagination, and the unexpected.“
And this line is intended to be inclusive, which truly makes the honor ours. “I see this collection being worn by everyone everywhere. It’s fun, it’s functional, and it’s really cool as well. I’m so, so proud of this collection.”
With cap-sleeve dresses, patterned bomber jackets, applique tops and more, the collection reflects the essence of the upcoming season, and has us more than excited for the slow, but sure sings of spring. I already have a few favorites and cannot wait to shop this collection.

whispers, you can make your list NOW, over here
I went on the Target site and ended up loving most of it. I think the orange jumper, culotte and one shoulder top and all of the floral pieces have to be in my wardrobe. However I dread the usual crush to get the plus size pieces that target makes us go through for the collabs.
Apparently, I really do need to lose weight. Even in this new age of making clothes available to all sizes, many times they only go up to a 24/3X. Sadly, I am a 26/28, and often cannot participate in the fun clothing out there. I hope that one day it will all go up to 4X.
While I’ve been unimpressed by some of their latest collaborations, this line looks cute! I’ll be doing the target scavenger hunt for some pieces! #markscaledar
I’m so glad she included Plus! I wish they weren’t all box shaped.
Exactly what I thought.
Same! Everything is boxy/drapey. Not cute.
Items that have no shape!!
These are all pretty ugly looking.

Good! I didn’t know that Victoria B. Has a plus size brand
Shes including plus in her collection with Target 😉
This line looks like her. Not for me, but glad she’s branching out and I hope the fabric is of quality .
To short…
I’m guessing up to 3x?
Not one thing I would wear. She needs to understand that plus size gals don’t need to wear a box.
Nothing appeals to be but to be honest I haven’t liked anything I’ve seen at Target the past 6 months.
I’m not a fan of Target, but I’d actually buy a few of those
I’m not impressed by any of the pieces.
I’m a 4x so, nope.
Not excited at all! Not because the designs aren’t pretty, but I’ve been excited about a collaboration and go to my Target and the items aren’t in store and/or not available online, either.
I’ll be at Target at 8am to get the bee shirt ððððð
The good news is that there are three whole pairs of pants (counting the black and fuchsia as seaprate items). The bad news is that, once they’re hemmed, the flare will be gone. I suppose I could wear the black dress with the white collar to cosplay as Wednesday Addams at Comic Con.

Nothing seems very flattering to me… ð
Dope, ðð¥
Check the fit guide, the plus sizes will likely fit small.
True! And they do. A size 18, true size 18, is a 24 for the bottoms.
Ugly
Insult to women
They’re repulsive!
Too many looks that will require a strapless bra or no bra. Pass.
Very basic pieces that are poorly fitted on the models. Also looks like too much altering would be necessary as well as accessorizing the pieces because they don’t appear to be able to just wear off the rack.
3x may fit will check out this Saturday after i get paid ot wait until they hit the clearance rank
Amanda Brown!! What do you think??
On the fence. I like her but not in love with the clothes. Need to see it in person
I picked up the two scarves in the collection.
The scarves were beautiful! Wish I could’ve justified grabbing them
Meh
I ate my words a little and grabbed the collared dress with the little bunny heads on it and the drop waist calla lily dress. If they don’t fit, I’ll be so sad! But the stores around me didn’t have the plus sizes 🙁
Already did my shopping and the orange one-shoulder is at home with me now. I also bought the blush jacquard shift and the black calla lily shift. Tried on the blush jacquard shorts and the fit was odd to me. A bit tight at 18 but too big at 20.
PSA to all fat girls everywhere: Avoid the Target Style celeb collab with Victoria Beckham at all cost. (Unless you like looking like you are just wearing a very short box on your torso. Ugh!) I tried four of the most ill fitting things ever. So back to Target they go!
