Maybelline Fit me Shine Free stick foundation review

If you have been following me for some time, I have the darndest time playing in foundation. Secretly I have envied those who can play around in those foundation sticks, because it was easy, cool-looking, and the color matched them. For me, I often ended up with ashy skin, looking like a raccoon, or like death warmed overโ€ฆ Then I tested the Maybelline Fit Me Shine-Free Stick Foundation.

With the seasons changing, fall officially here and my vacation suntan gone, I need something that will work for me. UM. HELLO Technology! LOOK at my face!

I was sent the Maybelline Fit Me Shine-Free Stick Foundation to test out in three shades, and let me tell you, for someone who has an oily T-Zone, this new foundation definitely fits me! I rocked out in the 340, also known as Cappuccino.

I already have the Fit liquid foundation, but since summer, my hue has changed, so what a great time to stumble onto a new product. AND with it being a stick, I imagine life in the makeup area to move faster too.

Aside from this being Maybellineโ€™s first gel stick foundation, it fashions an anti-shine core with a gel foundation that blends to a natural matte finish.ย  I am all about this. No one likes to be chillin in the middle of the day with a shine that could blind folks. (I am dangerously close to this, when it is not controlled!)

Inside this foundation, there are lightweight powders in the anti-shine core instantly dissolve excess oil- you see? They were NOT playing with the anti-shine!

  • Powder core instantly dissolves excess oil.
  • For flawless, shine-free skin and tailor-made natural matte coverage.
  • Easy to apply and great on-the go.
  • Available in 12 oil-free shades.

In addition to this stick foundation, I finished up with the Fit Me Pressed Powder, to test a fuller coverage look.

What do you think?

Add to this, that this stick foundation is onlyyyyy $8.99?!?! How could you NOT give it a go?!? You can buy this on Maybellineโ€™s website or at your fave drugstores everywhere.

I am so hyped about this new arrival. A new option for MY complexion is always a win for me-AND oil control? Hey BOO!

Do you rock the Fit Me Foundation? Leave a comment on what youโ€™re most excited about with this product and what you love if youโ€™ve already made the switch!

I have used the fitme stick and I love it although I still need concealer on my cheeks because of horrible rosacea! I am yet to find a single foundation with enough coverage that is pale enough considering I use the 110. Oh and the 110 suits me almost perfectly, if not its a little bit too pale which is amazing!
