Do you recall the days of having Juicy featured on your backside? The terry or velour sweatsuits are back with the Forever 21 x Juicy Couture collection, just in time (and on trend) to channel your Y2K feels. Not only is the Forever 21 x Juicy Couture collection available in plus, your kids can get in on the action, too!

The Forever 21 x Juicy Couture collection gives us a nod to the throwback styles, including โ€œcrop tops, skirts, halter top dresses, rompers, jumpsuits and accessories, as well as the celebrity-favorite Juicy Couture velour tracksuit.โ€ So, are you looking to upgrade your plus size loungewear or activewear sets?

What is the Y2K Trend?

Now, if you are asking yourself, โ€œwhat is the Y2K trend?โ€ You are not alone! According to High Snobiety, they define this trend:

โ€œTechnically, Y2K spans the years 1997 to 2005. But today, young people using these sites to source their inspired โ€˜fits blend styles from the earlier โ€˜90s, early aughts, and the early 2010sโ€ฆ In a recent report, trend forecaster Samantha Hine explained that the craze for Y2K-inspired fashion is a response to todayโ€™s ever-growing pressure to appear picture-perfect. The over-the-top, glitzy, and sleazy aesthetic of the early 2000s acts as a subversive counterpoint to the demand for flawless skin, a designer wardrobe, and a carefully curated online presence.โ€

Now that we have got the definition out of the way, letโ€™s hop back into this Juicy Couture collection, shall we? You have your color choice of bubble gum pink, lavender, baby yellow, or black in key Juicy Couture silhouettes.

The Forever 21 x Juicy Couture collection is moving fast, tooโ€ฆ if you are pining for this collection, you will have to move fast! Many items, including the velour miniskirt have already sold out!

What is unfortunately not included in plus sizes are the Velour jumpsuit, the bodysuit, and a few other items. Such a missed opportunity here, too! One of the most playful pieces is the jumpsuit and we did not see any hoodies or matching pants available, outside of little girls.

You can score this collection at Forever21.com!

Sizes are available up through a 3X and items in this collection range from $8.99 to $49.99.

So, are you feeling the nostalgia? As someone who wore Juicy Couture the first time around, I am on the fence, but think this is a cute and fun throwback! I could definitely see myself in the black, yesโ€ฆ

If you rocked this trend, could you see yourself wearing it again? Or did you miss out on it and are eager to hop into a few pieces from the Forever 21 x Juicy Couture collection?
