14 Plus Size Parents You Need To Follow on Instagram!

We love plus size fashionistas over here but you know who else we love? Plus size parents! There's nothing like seeing pictures flood our timelines!

Sharing is caring!

One of my favorite parts about being a plus size blogger is following other bloggers, whose lives are a lot different from mine!  Seeing people talk about their faith, their country or their community, etc, is so insightful.

Recently, I’ve taken to following plus-size bloggers who are also parents!  I love reading about how they’re raising body positive kiddos, taking vacations, etc.

Here Are 14 of Our Favorite Plus Size Parents

1. Aaronica of @TheCrunchyMommy

Besides being a fearless leader for writers at TCF, Aaronica is also a blogger over on The Crunchy Mommy!  She blogs about green living, homeschooling her kiddos and how to make sure parents get in some much needed self-care.

2. Briana Hernandez of @MamaFierceBlog

Briana has a bright and outrageous style, picking pieces that turn heads and make people smile – because she’s just so FUN!  She recently wrote about welcoming her daughter home, which made me cry.

4.  Jacqueline of @ChubbyDustBunny

Jacqueline is a plus size blogger and the owner of a vintage shop, Copperhive Vintage, in Salt Lake City, Utah.  I love watching her Instagram Stories, because her daughter (and future style icon) Story always pops in with cute poses and joy.

5.  Darlene from Suits, Heels and Curves

Darlene is a business professional, who is also a body positive mom and blogger!  She lives with her family in NYC, and loves sharing picture from vacation and business travel.

This week we’ve been experimenting with lots of different food flavors. From cherries 🍒 avocado 🥑 to sweet potatoes 🍠 and this little nugget is loving all of it. 😋 I’m loving this little spoon and bib set from @bboxforkids that folds right into itself. Makes feeding on the go so much easier. 🙌🏼 What do you like feed your nugget? 😄 . . . . #plusfashion #plussizeblogger #psootd #psblogger #ootd #plussize #latinablogger #suitsheelsandcurves #fashionblogger #blogger #thehappynow #makeyousmilestyle #nycblogger #mommyblogger #momblogger #newmom #plussizemom #celebratinglife #plussizepetite #petitestyle #bronxgirl #empoweringwomen #shero #changingtheworld #girlpower #latinamom #raisingaqueen #sixmonthsold #firstfoods #babyfoods

Here’s a Monday morning reflection for you guys!⠀ ⠀ There was a time, not too long ago, that I wouldn’t have taken this photo. I would have obsessed about how my arms too look big, the shirt isn’t flattering on me, the hijab makes my face look rounder (you get the idea) and just discarded the moment in search of something where I felt I looked better. The likelihood is high that I wouldn’t have found one where I liked how I looked. ⠀ ⠀ It makes me so sad to realize that I would put so much emphasis on my insecurities- that I wouldn’t have focused on how special this moment is, how perfectly he fits beside me, our beautiful smiles (his with half his front teeth missing) and just how much love I have for this little guy. ⠀ ⠀ There are a thousand instances I wish I could go back and capture but life doesn’t go backwards. What I can- and will do- is make sure that I capture all the moments going forward and no messy hijab, chunky arms and yesterday’s eyeliner smudges will stop me. ⠀ ⠀ My advice for all you beautiful mamas is, be a #mamaintheframe. Be present in the photos. Love yourself enough to allow yourself the joy of capturing these amazing moments. These are memories that won’t only be precious for you, they’ll mean the world to your kids as they get older. Celebrate the moments- the big ones, the little ones and everything in between. ⠀ ⠀ Are you someone who struggles to be in the frame? What stops you from being part of special moments with your loved ones?⠀ ⠀ Happy Monday dear friends! Here’s to wishing all of us a beautiful week ahead, where we live life to its fullest and enjoy every moment with those we love the most 💛 ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #muslimmom #chicagomom #bodypositivity #selflove⠀

Just when we think we have everything we need, Bobby and I end up walking aimlessly around the car seat section because we are just about done carrying her around in an infant car seat. I’ve given up and take her out of it straight from the car because I can’t handle it anymore! I’m pretty strong and even I’m struggling with carrying it. We always end up just leaving without buying a new convertible one because it gets too overwhelming for us. Which brands are the best and would we have to buy another stroller?! All I know is that I’m one hot mess of a mama bear trying to lug this baby bear around in a car seat, she’s just too big now! And we usually end up looking like tourists in a foreign country as we scan the aisles squinting at the details of each brand pulling out our phones to google it. Might as well wear a sign that says new parents. 😂 #matmomentswithmama Mama Bear Tee: @lovedbyhannahandeli

13. Nick Holliday @NickHollidayCo

I love the perspective on parenting and masculinity that Nick shares on his Instagram, tagging photos with #PuttingTheGentleBackInGentlemen.

14.  Dese’Rae L. Stage @DeseRaeStage

When she’s not raising awareness on suicide prevention, Dese’Rae can be found posting about IVF treatments and having to adopt her son, Gus, that her partner, Felicidad, carried.  I love Dese’Rae’s combination of real talk and parent humor.

I had a very specific vision for an image I thought would encompass the importance of this day. The day shouldn’t have needed to happen, but it had to, for our safety. We tried to make an event out of it, but it was kind of anticlimactic. I didn’t feel relief when the judge granted the order; I thought of all the other things I need to do next to protect my family in the face of the terrifying political changes happening. I want it in Gus’s photo album because, one day, he’ll know this story. And hopefully, on that day, things will be better. Parents won’t have to adopt their own children and a million other things that need improving. I’ve always been his mom, but now it’s set in stone. We are his, and he is ours, forever. Thank you for bringing my vision to life, @heydanfredo.
