Me and The Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips- A Review

I am the most goofiest perfectionist. Seriously. I love doing my nails, but more often than not, I make a mess of my hands- only to tirelessly and frustratingly throw my hands to the nail polish remover in my failed attempts of doing my nails.

The Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips- A ReviewBUT! To my surprise, I found an awesome solution to my nail polish woes! I headed to Walgreens last week to pick up some nail polish for my younger cousin graduating from high school (we have this nail polish bond). I stumbled upon the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips, while looking for the Crackle Polish and my cousin scored- yet MY curiosity was intrigued!

Yesterday I hastened back to Walgreens, after asking my Tweeps on Twitter about these foreign polish strips. The image of fishnet fingernails had me so excited and elated! So I broke down and bought them!

AND I AM SO GEEKED I DID!

The Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips- A ReviewWithout fudging up a manicure with an unsteady hand, I managed to rock out a gold and black fishnet manicure! Called Misbehaved, my fishnet manicure was applied in three cool steps!

  1. Peel off the Nail Polish
  2. Apply and Smooth onto my Nails
  3. Shape and File down to desired shape

***To protect my nails from wear, I added a clear top coat!

This tip was HIGHLY recommended from my beauty experts on Twitter!***

Seriously, in less than 30 minutes, I had a manicure that (in my eyes) ROCKS!

Where have I been?  Although a bit tardy to this nail polish party, I am happy that I finally arrived!

Cool! it looks SO easy I really like the lace one. Wonder if they sell them in Europe. I will check out Amazon. I use konad stamp when I want to be fancy. I have similar design, gold with black fishnet. i’ll post a link http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/223451_206273136061119_201275576560875_617799_7889143_n.jpg

I saw these in the shoppers drug mart near me (Canadian version of Walgreens) and I was sceptical too. Now I think I might go back and get them. I suck at painting my nails. Would these work for toes as well?

    • http://thecurvyfashionista.mariedenee.com Marie Denee

You know what??? I am not soo sure, although some peeps did tell me that they did this on their toes…. I am a bit hesitant to do so…

Very cool! I think I’d like to try the zebra, hippy flowers, and the houndstooth.

Do you need a lot of patience for this?

    • http://thecurvyfashionista.mariedenee.com Marie Denee

      Funnily enough… NO!!!!!
