Where do you buy your plus size wardrobe essentials? The pieces that add to your style? Today, we share a few more places to shop for them!
Last week, something really amazing happened. Designer Youtheary Khmer launched her newest collection online…
And in a panic, it looked like everything sold out in less than 8 hours!
BUT!!! To my surprise, this is not the case! While a few items are sold out, you can get your hands on a few of the YK Collection via PRE-ORDER!
“I get some much joy seeing a woman wear one of my designs. I put my heart and soul into creating more than just a pretty dress, but being a part of making someone feel beautiful. Their pain, struggle and sacrifice, is my pain, struggle and sacrifice. Seeing someone else smile, let’s me know this is my destiny. This is my gift to you. From one curvy girl, to another” – Theary Sim
Before I let your eyes do the lusting… Let me tell you about Theary. Pronounced (yut-terri-come-air), I had the pleasure of catching a glimpse of this edgy, chic, and playful ATL based designer when she showed at FFFWeek Los Angeles! It was the first time I saw her collections in real life and I was quite impressed with her! Following her moves on Twitter and Facebook, I knew that Theary was up to something grand! And this year, she is back to show us more for FFFWeek NY!
So, what I did is round up a few of my favorite gems from the collection! Take a peek and let me know what you think!
The Youtheary Khmer Collection
Who is she?
Theary is celebrity stylist-turned-model-now-designer. SO, she gets it! Theary new that behind the seams is where she wanted to be, so she developed her first standard ready to wear line in 2008 while attending Clark Atlanta University. With the high demand in the curvy community, she knew that she had to be a part of that movement, so in 2010 she went back to the drawing board and re-launched Youtheary Khmer for the curvy woman!
Fast forward to now and there are a few things I must share! Her pieces range from 12-22 or 1x-3x, almost all are under $100, and are quite fun and cute!
