Looking for a plus size styling or plus size styling service? Cool news! Stitch Fix launches Stitch Fix plus with a Curvy Council!

Bloggers Allison Teng of Curvy Girl Chic, Kristine Thompson of Trendy Curvy, and Alexandra Thomas of Learning to Be Fearless

So this is really cool news! I have been a fan of Stitch Fix, have met them at a few events, and have always asked about their plus size options… always met with either “we do not” or “maybe down the line” so when I caught wind of it coming to now see its arrival, I knew that I had to share the news that the online personal styling brand, Stitch Fix has added plus sizes to it’s lineup!

Yes. Starting February 27, Stitch Fix will begin styling plus clients!

“While it is very rewarding to be in the business of helping women and men look and feel their best, Stitch Fix’s offering felt incomplete without being able to serve a more comprehensive range of women’s sizes. Our Plus team invested a lot of time and resources in order to bring the same great client experience to life and we’re thrilled to be able to offer a personalized styling service that is a broader reflection of American women today,” said Katrina Lake, Founder and CEO of Stitch Fix.

And the demand was overwhelming with over 75,000 women who were excitedly waiting for this service, who had already signed up to be on the waitlist!  This come right after their latest venture, Stitch Fix Men! Stitch Fix Plus will include “the most comprehensive range of apparel and price points in online personal styling for plus size women.”  This includes contemporary plus size brands such as City Chic, Eloquii, Kiyonna, Junarose, Slink Jeans and Universal Standard, as well as exclusive brands including Market & Spruce, Pixley and 41Hawthorn.

I am so here for this.

And they did not just jump in because the water as nice, Stitch Fix created a dedicated fit team and launched the Curvy Style Council, featuring plus-size personal style bloggers: Allison Teng, Kristine Thompson and Alexandra Thomas! It is through this council that Stitch Fix receives real-time feedback on product fit, trends, brand partners and product assortment.

Alright, Stitch Fix. Alright!

“Like everyone, this woman wants to look and feel great!  We’re excited to help her find the right, stylish product she loves. With our Plus fit team and Curvy Style Council committed to ensuring consistency in fit and more than 200 specifically-trained plus stylists, Stitch Fix Plus will continue to revolutionize the shopping experience for women,” shared Lake.

Stitch Fix also taps bloggers Allison Teng of Curvy Girl Chic, Kristine Thompson of Trendy Curvy, and Alexandra Thomas of Learning to Be Fearless, to provide advice on fit, function, and fashion! So how does one get started? Just head on over to StitchFix.com, sign up and fill out a Style Profile to share your size and style preferences. From there, a personal stylist, specifically trained on how to style Plus sizes, selects five items of apparel, footwear, and accessories that best fits your unique taste, budget, lifestyle and special requests.

From there, items are shipped right to your door! You can buy what you want and send the rest back with free shipping both ways and free exchanges! Yes to free shipping!

You can sign up for the Stitch Fix Plus waitlist at StitchFix.com!

Why does it have to be called Stitch Fix Plus? Why can’t it just be Stitch Fix with a notation of expanded sizing.

Thanks for your feedback, Dani! After a lot of careful consideration from many different sources, we made the decision to use this phrase. Our plus line is a continuation of our women’s business and we’re thrilled to be expanding our offerings and provide stylish clothes to all women. If you have any questions we’re happy to help.
