Weโ€™ve all been thereโ€ฆ youโ€™re out with your friends, or youโ€™re on a date, and you look down and see a growing wet stain under your breasts. Not only is it embarrassing, itโ€™s uncomfortable. Underboob sweat can feel slimy and can also cause chafing. However, there are significant ways to deal with underboob sweat.

According to The Strategist, who spoke with a dermatologist, Dr. Rachel Nazarian, underboob sweat is more noticeable because there is nowhere for the sweat to evaporate.

โ€œThe skin hangs and folds on itself, leaving less air to evaporate the sweat,โ€ she stated.

Luckily, some tactics can help you manage underboob sweat. Additionally, there are ways to prevent those embarrassing sweat stains.

Here are five ways to deal with underboob sweat during the summer!

1. Use deodorant

Deodorant has longย been consideredย a tool to prevent must and sweat โ€” for your underarms. However, giving the skin under your breasts a couple of swipes may help prevent icky sweat later on. No need to buy anything special; just use the deodorant you already have! If youโ€™re often on the go, consider a deodorant spray so it doesnโ€™t melt in your car or purse.ย

2. Use talc-free baby powder

Baby powder is not just for the babies! If you have plans to be out in the heat for prolonged periods of time, grab some talc-free baby powder. This is one of the best ways to deal with underboob sweat as it helps to absorb excess moisture. Additionally, baby powder can be used in multiple places where you sweat a lot. Sprinkle a little in your underwear and throw some under your chest before you leave home.

3. Go bra-less

Thanks to the Free the Nipple Movement, going bra-less is not the taboo it used to be. Using the above methods and ditching the bra can help you avoid sweat and chafing. This also makes it easy to use a few paper towels to pat dry the area once a lot of moisture has built up. If you have the ability, try going without the bra.

4. Wear bra-liners or cotton inserts

Now, everyone does not have the privilege of going bra-less. For those who experience excessive amounts of underboob sweat, a bra-liner may have a significant impact. You can still wear a bra while also avoiding sweat stains. You will also have a decrease in chafing and blisters from using a liner. If you donโ€™t care to pay for liners, you can utilize a cotton menstrual pad or panty liners! It may sound odd, but the pads can absorb moisture and prevent stains. Simply place them under your boobs and put your bra on as usual.

5. Ditch tight-fitting clothing

Though the clothes can be trendy, tight-fitting clothing is more likely to show sweat stains. Additionally, it can exacerbate skin irritation. During the summer, consider the material of your clothing and opt for flowy and loose items. For example, cotton clothing is much more breathable than polyester, so be sure to check the label!

Underboob sweat does not have to keep you down. Just because temperatures are rising does not mean you have to stay in the house! Consider these amazing and effective ways to deal with underboob sweat.
