The latest for Full Figured Fashion Week 2010

Are you headed to Full Figured Fashion Week? If so, then you need to read all up about the very 1st Full Figured Fashion Week Awards and the categories!

Are you heading to New York for our version of fashion week? The plus size fashion event of the year? Well, yesterday, the dates for the Second Annual Full Figured Fashion Week (FFFWeek) were released! But there is more news brewing!!!

You know, we probably would be waiting for years for our OWN Full Figured Fashion Awards Show.  So, instead of waiting, Gwen DeVoe has decided to create our own.  Adding to the already highly anticipated lineup of the week’s events is our first ever Legends and Trailblazers in Plus Size Fashion!

This year, the FFFweek Committee will be honoring legends and trailblazers in the plus size fashion industry. These awards will acknowledge those who have been blazing trails in our industry and community.

The Full Figured Fashion Award categories include:

  • Model of the Year
  • Fashion Designer of the Year
  • Photographer of the Year
  • MUA of the Year
  • Fashion Stylist of the Year
  • Fashion Retailer of the Year
  • Fashion Blog of the Year
  • Fashion E-Zine of the Year
  • Fashion Icon of the Year
  • Viewers Choice

In addition to these goodies, the FFFWeek team is looking for video clips of YOU telling them who you would like to see showcase at FFFWeek this year! You know, the plus size indie designers who are giving us all of the plus size fashion that we have been craving for.

So who would YOU like to see?

When taping, please include your name and the city that you live in. If your video is selected, we will send you a release form to be used for our project. Did you have a favorite designer you wanted to see represented that was not featured last year? Now is your time to let your voice be heard! Send your clip NOW to [email protected]

Which designer would you want to see?

Which category are you looking forward to the most?

Are you excited?
