We did it! The 3rd annual TCFStyle Expo is over and it was the best one yet! This year was BIGGER and BOLDER with an added day of shopping and the addition of Big & Tall Mens Fashion! We cannot thank each and every one of you enough for your continued support! It was so much fun meeting everyone and seeing all you beautiful plus size women and men in one building together!
Every year we grow and bring you a bolder event. That would not be possible if it weren’t for the help of our sponsors, vendors, and production team! This year our presenting sponsor Ashley Stewart brought their Finding Ashely Pageant to the expo and 2 lucky contestants are heading to the finale in New York!
We also push and plan to bring you more brands, more vendors, more discussions and this year was no different! For those of you who weren’t able to attend or catch us on Facebook Live, we’ve got a rundown for you of everything that happened from the fashion shows to the vendors and model workshops to the discussion panels.
Whoa! The 2017 TCFStyle Expo was AMAZING! Here’s What You Missed! [VIDEO]
There were so many things going on at once from panels and shopping to the fashion shows and special performances by Ashlee Haze, Terrel Mercer, and Pretty Big Movement. There were so many special VIP events like the brunches and Ashley Stewart mixer that definitely added to the experience! Being able to mingle and meet your favorite blogger and model was definitely a perk. All weekend ladies were posing for pictures and meeting the women that influenced their styles.
Panels like the Styled IV Life workshop with Maui of Phat Girl Fresh and Shaina of Out of the Corner was one of my favorites! Having real discussions and knowing you aren’t alone in finding confidence and be brave in your fashions was much needed! The Model 101 Workshop was also fun to watch and attend! The ladies got creative with their walks and poses!
In our third year we saw the addition of Big & Tall Mens fashions. It goes without saying that you ladies loved the Big & Tall Men! MVP Collections showcased their amazing line, had a meet and greet and an amazing panel introducing us to the world of Big & Tall fashion! It was great to see that these guys shared our struggle in finding fashionable clothing.
Besides the amazing mens fashion City Chic and Dia&Co both showcased the latest of their offerings and we were all impressed! Having the larger brands that we don’t always get to see and try in person there was amazing, but the indie designers and vendors were a plus! We saw new designs from vendors like Courtney Noelle, Christian OmeShun, Curve Culture, Nina Sharae, ASTRA Signature, Diva Kurves, and so many more!
Oh and there was the 2018 Chevy Equinox! You know I saved my personal fave for last! I’ve loved this SUV since I first saw it. Especially since its 1st in its class for safety, has bluetooth, and wifi, and an amazing sound system! I snuck and sat in it for a while and the seats hugged me! I didn’t want to get up!
This is still just a taste of what happened! You can never truly express the fun and excitement of such a huge event! You have to literally be there to know! Hopefully the pictures, video, and Facebook live action has you planning for the 2018 TCFStyle Expo! If you had fun this year, just wait until next!
Again we cannot thank you all enough for your continued support! We look forward to bringing you an even bigger and bolder TCFStyle Expo for 2018! Let us know what you liked, want more of, want added in the comments! Make sure to check out the recap video and share it with your friends!
