Reality show stardom is quite the phenomenon. Some go off into thrown-cocktail-glass infamy, while others take advantage of their platform and turn it into a business. Real Housewives of Toronto star Roxy Earle is the latter. The body positivity activist (y’all got into her #MySizeRox hashtag, right?) and reality TV show star has teamed up with Canadian specialty retailer Le Chateau to launch her new capsule collection, Roxy Earle x Le Chateau! Equipped with casual, chic elegance and everything in between, this new collection is a great launch!
Everyone Can Be A Housewife With The Roxy Earle X Le Chateau Capsule Collection!
With her new collection, Roxy is strutting away from the safe — and boring — dark colors and loose silhouettes many designers relegate for plus size collections and instead going for soft and cute pinks, bold reds, and tailored chiffon to accentuate the curves.
“There’s so many misconceptions about who a woman is, what kind of income she has, what kind of clothes she wants to wear… I don’t know what people were thinking — but glamorous, incredible women who are willing to invest in beautiful clothes come in all shapes and sizes.”

Tackling Bigger Issues In The Plus Size Clothing Community
Roxy also tackled the design of plus size clothing, which is typically just the larger version of standard clothing for straight-size models. Given the vast array of shapes women have, this simply isn’t acceptable.
“There needs to be adjustments other than just a bigger size,” noted Roxy. She recalled a time she had to return a dress she bought. Though it was her size, it didn’t fit the way it was designed to fit at all.
“It fits my hips perfectly, it fits my boobs perfectly but it won’t do up at the waist. My husband said, ‘Why the hell would they make a dress that would fit those hips and those boobs and not do up at the smallest part of you, the waist? It doesn’t make any sense.”‘, she said.
Yes Roxy, yes!!! We agree 100% with this!
