This summer is going to be hot hot hot and we have to be prepared to handle the heat (for real girl, be careful!) Start by wearing cool and fresh clothes, of course always showing your style and chicness! Sooo since we are talking about summer styles.. This is just perfect timing to bring up one of the most popular trends: Off-the-shoulder!
This style has been around for a pretty long time but we still are obsessed about it! Showing a little skin but not too much.. We have to leave something to the imagination right? This trend is sooo feminine and fresh, and you can pretty much match it with anything, try an off-the shoulder top with cute denim, shorts, skirts, pants.. giiiirl! It goes with everything!

I’m all in for the maxi dresses, those are so pretty and casual for a brunch date with your girls, add some accessories and a cute pair of sandals and you will look like a queen! And for the night I’m all about the jumpsuit, super sexy and elegant!

I’m not particularly broad-shouldered but I always look like a linebacker when I try on off-the-shoulder things. I also can’t wear them to work so they are just a big NO for me.

They are so cute, but they are impossible for me to wear. I need to wear a bra. A strapless one in an i cup is something I’ve never seen, nor would I trust it ð

I wouldn’t feel confident in one even if they did make them. These things need strapped ans locked down.
Same here. I’m an H as well, and I can’t find a strapless bra that doesn’t cost a fortune, and look like a torture device. My shoulders are the best part of my body. Id love to wear the off the shoulder shirts. I’m ready to resort to duct tape and scaffolding. ð
That might work, and be about as comfortable as most bras.
Unless I want to buy a full on custom made Victorian corset with metal boning this look will never work for me, and then I’d have lost the whole light and breezy for summer advantage of these outfits. Oh well, at least my shoulders don’t get sunburned ð

Personally, the off-the-shoulder look is not for me. Not only does it not work on my body shape, but it’s not my personal style. I’m not into the “cold shoulder” look either. It’s too trendy for me. If it’s your personal style and works for you, go for it. But right now, my plus size shopping options are pretty limited because there are so many off-shoulder and cold shoulder tops, or to counter that, boring basic Ts that are either too clingy, too long, or have that “shirttail hem” in the back that I hate.
I can’t find a strapless bra to save my life so off the shoulder isn’t for me at this time unfortunately. 🙁

Ladies!! I don’t always wear a strapless bra! I do tend to wear a bra the is the same color as my off the shoulder top! I get plenty of compliments from other women, they say they didn’t think it would look nice! So try it! See how it works for u!

Hate em. My shoulders are permanently dented from bras. I just want a 32 inch tunic that gathers right under the bust, slightly longer in front versus the dreaded high low style. Everything else is just meh.
I havent bought any new tops in over 18months.

I agree! There is to be a trick to it.
No strapless bra needed. I just wear my regular bra and slide it down my shoulders. With a well made, structured bra, this works amazingly well. Never slips down too low.
And I’m a g/h cup

Love them! However, decent strapless bras are much harder and more expensive to find and definitely not always comfy. I’ve matched the bra to the shirt too! Might look into the clear straps
