Let me tell you something. Your girl is inspired right now. Yes, most go into the New Year with all kinds of resolutions and ideals of how they plan the year to be, and it is such an amazing thing to see and watch. This Message to Take Into 2014…

“Greatness is a lot of small things done well”

“It’s time now, if you want to make this your decade, you’ve got to start saying yes to your life, you’ve got start saying yes to your dreams…”

You see, I have been ready for 2014 for a while now, knowing that there are quite a few things I have up my sleeve that I am finally ready to bring into fruition, but before I go all resolution on you, let’s talk about our mindset. Better yet, let me share with you the video that changed everything for me…

“Turn your pain into greatness… Your pain is going to be a part of your prize”

After watching this video, everything kind of clicked. I realized a few things and took away a few messages and words… and now, I invite you to watch OR close your eyes to listen, especially since the WORDS mean more than the video itself does. But it is damn impactful.

I mean… HELLO. I already know that I have lofty ideas and dreams for myself. I already know this. LOL. How I am going to make those happen? I haven’t the clue yet, but you better believe that it is going to TWERK.

This video had me reflecting and rethinking my mental process about a few things… especially these two lines:

“The Biggest enemy you have to deal with is yourself”

“When you die, die on “E”, leave no dream left behind…”

For the past five years, I have seen this journey as one of sacrifice, dedication, failures, successes, and personal growth. For the next five, I plan to thrive. THRIVE. Drawing from the personal pains and frustrations, the successes and monuments, and the lessons learned to make 2014 and beyond that much more impactful for me.

A Message to Take Into 2014:What am I willing to do for it?

Sister girl is first creating a vision board. I need constant reminders. And, they work like crazy! My past two have been amaze in the visualization of my goals.

Next plan, create, and implement. I need to fashion a plan to execute all of these things I want to do and in order to make it happen, I need a roadmap AND a team! I am working on this! Yeahhhh contributors!

Lastly? Going along with the theme of the video, Fierce Dedication. Yes, I will have to push myself out of my comfort zone, go beyond my limits, and this comes with fierce dedication and being fearless in the face of MY own fears.
