FIRST LOOK: The Lane Bryant 6th and Lane Look Book

I like what and where Lane Bryant has been doing and where they are going. Like, a lot. First the collaboration with Isabel Toldeo, Sophie Theallet, and now with the Lane Bryant 6^th and Lane Collection. And Lane Bryant needed this. Needed an injection of fun, edge, sophistication, and fashion- rather than being another plus size retailer. I love this and welcome it, 1000%.

A few blogger buddies and I even talked about how more frequent we find ourselves in the store, online, and in their clothes! With the changes that have happened within the brand, I see why! And I am here for it all! I actually have a working list from what I teased on the TCF Facebook page! So what is this 6th and Lane, and what can we expect from it? Well, this is what they’ve shared:

Loving this. Sexy, sleek, polished. Sophisticated, body conscious, tailored. These are words and feelings that come to mind with this launch of the collection- a perspective that leaves me wanting more, curious about this capsule, and eager to head in store to try it on and test it out! (I think I will do just that).

But here is what I can deduce from the Lane Bryant 6^th and Lane Collection:

• This is Lane Bryant’s answer to the new plus size contemporary competition
• Price points will be higher
• Higher quality of fabrics and execution
• Different silhouettes that are bolder, fitted, and sexier
• This new range will NOT BE for everyone and it is kind of on purpose
• This will not take away from the Lane Bryant we know, but it is an elevation
• Think Banana Republic from Gap
