Getting Ready for Fall: It’s a Haul with Loralette [Video]

Sharing is caring!

Hey girl, hey! How are you doing today? Well… have I got a fun little treat (or at least I think it is) as I have a new video, playing around in a new plus size brand, Loralette! Now I am not sure if you remember us sharing the news with you last season, but the Avenue brands launched a new little sister brand named Loralette!

Think easy, breezy, playful, and relaxed. Think a little bit of boho, cool-girl, Cali chillin’ vibes. Great essentials that will take you from season to season, I had the chance to play in a few pieces and I am going to share with you a few of my picks, faves, and thoughts!

I mean… why not? You have to love the various options that are popping up for us in plus sizes and the various brands taking notes and hearing what we want and need. I am here for this growth.

So are you ready to see what I chose? Take a watch and the video above and then scroll down for the outfit break down!

It’s a Haul with Loralette- My Picks and Faves

Look one:

Floral off-the-shoulder top with black twill skinny jeans

I enjoyed this a little bit more than I thought I would. The pants were a new feeling… loving the fit and they were comfy! Go figure. The top? A mainstay into the spring, for sure.

Look 2:

One shoulder ruffle bodysuit with Mauve twill skinny jeans

This bodysuit is about to be rocked all year-long. I do not even care. It was quite comfy and I like that the blousing of this top is not tooooo much! Oh, and those pink pants?! WHO KNEW they’d be this much fun! Ha!

Look 3:

Tie bell-sleeve top with 3 Button Destructed cuff jeans

This, I think is my favorite outfit. I feel laid back and chill while feeling chic and polished at the same time… can that happen? I think so! And those jeans? Honey… my behind and my thighs? Heyyyy boo! (inserts a little twerk there)

Look 4:

Choker keyhole tank with Military Twill Skinny jeans

Surprisingly, I loved this together… I was not sure, but this worked for me! I love this top and how it fits me and I know that I can easily rock this with a few other pieces in my closet! Woot!

Let me tell you… I never thought that I would be digging non- jeans as much as I did these twill options… I had a little bit of fun here with these looks.

When it comes to separates. I do not have time to fuss about it. If I have to think too hard about what I am going to wear, then I just move the other way… lol, real talk. So, taking a jaunt in Loralette, has me thinking about ways that I could push my own style and self out of my box… you know?

You can scoop up all of these pieces at!

And guess what? You can shop these looks in select stores! Yes, love.

The only thing that I would challenge them on is their size range… I mean, I am curious to see if they extend their sizes beyond a 24/3x. I think once they do, this would ideal. It is all about inclusion… right?  Right.

Which looks or pieces were your favorite?
