First Look: Elomi Spring 2015 Collection

Elomi Lingerie Spring 2015When was the last time you were “properly” fitted? The last time you had a segzy bra that “lifts and separates?” Yes, there are bras that fit this and today, I have a look book for you! It has been a while since I have had the pleasure of sharing the latest from European plus size lingerie brand, Elomi. Are you familiar with them? Fit, form, and function. I love saying that, but in this case, we also have fashion and fanciness to add to the mix! I mean, I am one who does not mind spending a little more for something that will keep the girls in place and supported! Especially as I JUST had the funnest time being fitted yesterday at Nordstrom, by Jennifer who is part of the Eveden team! She knew her bras and her way around the “girls!” But first, let me share a little more about them and share with you the Elomi Spring 2015 Collection!

About Elomi:

You can shop quite a few of the newest arrivals from the Elomi Lingerie collection (and its family brands) at! (this is where I got fitted) I also advise that you get fitted at places that sell your size- to ensure a proper fit! Some stores even have fitting events! Do this!

Ohhh and guess what? Elomi Lingerie also has swim! I will be sharing more about this soon! But let me tell you about my fitting and a few tips I learned! I did learn that all these D’s we are used to over here realty affects our perceptions of fit and size! They even had a conversion pamphlet to show me!

Three Easy Plus Size Lingerie Fit Tips from Elomi:

  1. The band needs to be snug and anchored low on the back- parallel to the floor
  2. The underwire should be resting BEHIND all breast tissue (even on the sides- this was my biggest fit issue) and placed close to or beneath the underarm.
  3. The center front of the bra should rest against the chest wall (also known as “tacking”) to provide separation!

I knew, thanks to LiviRae Lingerie that I was a much larger cup than a DD, but Jennifer from the Evedem team got me into a 36 G from Elomi. How about that?!?!

Sooo, the question I have for you is, which ones are your faves from the Elomi Spring 2015 Collection?

  1. OMG! I love these. I am looking into the Nordstrom’s nearest to me to see if I can get over there. I am always looking for a good bra. I currently wear 46D which is kind of an odd size to find and I don’t think it is right anymore anyways. So a proper sizing would be nice.

  2. Yeah, a lot of women think if their bra cups don’t fit they need to go up in the band size. Usually you should go down in band size and up in the cup. I got fitted by Linda the bralady a few years back. So, found out I’m really 36ff to 38f.

  3. I love the your style I am a “curvy” gal struggling with breast cancer & I have always dreamed of a nice fitting bra to make me look & feel slim & to give me the support that I need. Every time that I have ever asked to be fitted they never do it right so I have never owned the fight fitting bra. I am going to order 1 order your bras & I know i will never love it. You are a inspiration & a beautiful woman thank you for your “CURVYFASHIONISTA”

  4. I love reading all the news & information you have for Plus Size Ladies, much of it like the Target news just gives me hope & ideas. Being in Australia everything that happens in Target in the US, will probably be a long time appearing here.
So pleased that there is so much in Good Ideas at last for you young ladies, we maturer Ladies would love suitable fashion for us. The striped skirts please with a different hem line, lovely.
Good bra fashion news is always welcome, cannot understand why we have to have the two ways of measuring bra cups. It would make life easier for every one surely if we just had the alphabetical system?
