If you have been watching Nuvo TV’s plus size show, Curvy Girls then you have met the newest arrival to the show, Joanne Borgella. But did you know that she recently launched her eponymous clothing label, Joanne Borgella New York? Yes, she has and it is quite chic.
Created with and inspired by her mother Paule Daniel Ford Borgella, Joanne Borgella New York is all about “being the best you and looking the part at all times.” To do this, Joanne has created a line that offers you something unique, versatile, and most importantly, fashionable. Her collection focuses on what a “Curvy Chique” woman is, debuting with 5 silhouettes in a variety of hues and patterns and I am excited to share with you my favorites from the collection…

“I want women to feel special, sexy and comfortable at all times. It’s all about balancing out your body. I love a sexy dress but there’s always an issue either its too short or the sleeves don’t fit or there are no sleeves at all! I make pieces that I myself feel comfortable wearing. As a plus model I know what’s lacking through my experience in modeling plus brands and I want to offer that to my #CurvyLovz”
The Joanne Borgella New York Collection is available from sizes 10-24! You can shop the collection now and online! But I have included below, the size chart to help you out!
JBNY SIZE CHART
SIZE (1) 10/12 (Bust 38-41) (Waist 30-33) (Hips 40-43)
SIZE (2) 14/16 (Bust 43-46) (Waist 35-37) (Hips 44-47)
SIZE (3) 18/20 (Bust 47-50) (Waist 38-41) (Hips 48-51)
SIZE (4) 22/24 (Bust 51-54) (Waist 42-45) (Hips 52-55)
Her dresses are made to show off the shape. So if you are shy or prefer a looser cut, go up a size. If you are in-between sizes or would like a loser fit, Joanne recommends that you go up a size. Make sure you also followJBNY on Facebook and give her a tweet on Twitter!
I’m always right outside the size of some of the designer plus size clothing. 26/28. I guess it’s motivation to come down a size to have access to more designs. Do you have a post that lists extended plus size size (26+)?
So many dresses, so little cash…lol! Bookmarking this designer for when I’m working full time!
Beautiful Collection especially Candy!
