Did you catch the Grammy’s last night? However, did you watch the red carpet arrivals? The Grammy’s proved to be a night of glamorous curves, some hits and a couple of misses, but glamorous nonetheless!

Extremely!

Our 2010 Grammys Red Carpet Recap!

So who is first the list?

Jennifer Hudson

This Curvy Fashionista and new mommy stepped onto the red carpet in this number:

The structure of this chic black dress paired with opaque tights and a patent heel deliver just enough sophistication and style, all while playing to her ample curves!

Pass go and collect $200!

Mandisa

Former American Idol contestant, Mandisa, stepped into Gospel and onto the red carpet into this pink number:

The dress was an almost for us.  We wanted to see a longer line of the dress, to flatter her statuesque frame.  The dress should have hit the floor and a train. For how sweet the dress is, the black shoes were a bit hard, and did not do the dress justice!

Almost! but not quite.

Mary Mary

This dynamic gospel-singing sister duo flaunted their curves on the red carpet looking fierce in this:

Staying chic with the all black with intricate detailing, these sisters looked divine in bejeweled necklines and studded accessories!

Success!

Ledisi

Oakland native, amazing vocalist, and jazz singer Ledisi brought her locks and style to the red carpet:

Opting for a shorter number, with the on trend one shoulder, Ledisi sashayed onto the red carpet with a neo soul vibe.

Groovy Baby!

Liz Rose

Known for her seven co-writing credits on Taylor Swift’s debut CD, Liz Rose brought a little glitz to the glamour on the red carpet:

In a gold sequins shift, Liz Rose played to her curves in a fanciful number. Although I would have loved to seen her hair different or her makeup a little more playful and shoes a bit more fierce, Liz managed to make a respectful entrance on to the red carpet. (I really loved the dress)

Safe but playful.

Miranda Lambert

Breakout country singer Miranda Lambert flaunted her curvaceous frame on the red carpet:

As turquoise is the color for spring, Miranda played to her assets in a one shoulder body hugging mermaid dress. While I would have liked to her the dress finish its pattern to the floor, Miranda chose a color that was extremely complimentary to her skin and a dress style playing to her best curves!

Blond Bombshell.

Niecy Nash

Known for her Clean House commentary, Ms. Nash fancied the red carpet with her silver number:

Starting from head to toe, Niecy was on a glamorous role, until we got down to the mid-calf area. The dress was working her frame, the curves were on fire, until the abrupt explosion of bronze layers. I do not understand why the dress had to hit where it did- or its existence of the layers.

I am torn.

What did you think?

Was there a curvy fashionista on the red carpet you saw that should have been mentioned?

Let me know!

I’m glad you mentioned Liz Rose. It was funny seeing her next to the tall lanky Taylor Swift though! Taylor looked like someone stretchd out a kindergartener next to her.
Do you think Ledisi was showing a little shorts/shapewear sticking out?
Speaking of underwear…. check out this contest. I saw this and thought of you:

Hi, maybe I will be a little bit off topic here, however I had been reading your website and it looks outstanding!. I’m creating a website and attempting to make it interesting, however everytime I touch it I screw something up. Did you build and style the blogsite by yourself? Can anbody with very little knowleadge do it, as well as add updates without messing it up? well, info on here, extremely helpful.
