Winter is raging in many parts of the country and it can be particularly harsh on a girl’s hair and skin! But I can’t claim this here in Georgia. The weather here has split personalities, cold one weekend and 80 degrees by Monday. With this type of change, my skin is developing its own set of personalities to adjust… I cannot be alone here. Am I lyin’? I mean not only this, but as I have gotten older, I have gotten more obsessed with skin and haircare. Wrinkles, dull skin, and dry hair? No ma’am. So today, I wanted to share a few of my favorite beauty must haves, to get and keep my skin, springtime ready!
I mean, asides from water and vitamin supplements, there are a few things that we constantly go back to… or find that work with our ever changing hormones (no one told me about this). I mean, I started breaking out again! I am noticing hyperpigmentation, and my skin is always oily. What is that, a blackhead? So, if you are anything like me, looking for a few great beauty finds, then mayyyyybe, my fave products are here to help you get over winter and get that springtime glow! Right?
Right.

Dr. Bronner’s Organic Lip Balm:
Now, this is a new one to me! This past winter, they debuted this collection and I have already run out. Interestingly enough, I find myself alternating with their Liquid Black Soap and a fave below, so when I heard about a new product, I gave that sucker a whirl! You see, your lips are one of the first thing to feel dry and chapped, as the harsh winter winds blow! You always want to make sure you’re prepared, just like the Girl Scouts are. This lip balm is a 100% organic and has no synthetic ingredients. They also come in fun flavors such as peppermint, lemon lime and orange ginger.
