A few nights ago, we attended the launch event for Who What Wear’s collection with Target. One thing Target does amazingly is throw a party. I’ve been super excited about this collaboration, as Target is trying something quite different than their typical designer collab. Besides the inclusive size range (yay, plus!), and the cool designs, the Who What Wear x Target collaboration is extended in a rolling launch, with new styles offered every month.
There were several racks of clothing on display, and two racks solely devoted to plus clothing. While nothing was revolutionary, everything appeared well made and wearable for multiple different occasions.
Racks of plus-size clothing were filled with sleek minimalist designs, pops of floral, elegant lace, dainty eyelet, smudgy polka dots, and classic stripes.
The entire set up was beautifully displayed, with bunches of fresh flowers decorating almost every surface, and a bevy of gorgeous diverse models all decked out in the killer designs. Keep scrolling to see more images from the event – including my favorite plus pieces!
How about these beautiful lace and floral accents?
Digging the dots and that powder pink jacket!

How about florals on florals and a bit of lace?

This faux leather jacket is nice.
This white eyelet dress? Sweet and playful.
This is Marie’s favorite! This blue faux suede jacket!
And of course, my favorite, the army vest
Fun pieces right? This was an awesome event and I cannot wait to make a few of these items mine! And you can too!
I’m glad Target is still trying but I do not see what is so hard about having the items available in all sizes and then modeled by diverse body types. It would be perfect. The fact that they had several racks with two (!) devoted to plus shows more of the same to me. That being said, I will check whatever my locale has to offer and will hopefully be wowed. I know they will offer more if this is successful.
