When it comes to beauty, there are several theories for how to best take care of yourself. With the constant overload of advice and content, โ€œhacksโ€ have become more complicated. Luckily, there are a few simple beauty hacks that have flown under the radar.

Whether you want to up your makeup game or skip a few steps in your daily routine, there is a simple beauty hack for you! From bronzing drops to mayo and avocado hair masks, you just never know how something you already have can improve your hair or skin. Here are five simple beauty hacks you should add to your routine!

1. Use a pressed setting powder to set the entire face

Every makeup girlie knows that setting powder is the one product that makes your beat feel complete. However, if you feel the need to keep a beauty blender in your purse you hate how oily you look after a long day โ€” there is a solution for you! Using a pressed setting powder can give you the extra security you need to feel confident all day long. Grab a fluffy brush, tap into a pressed powder, and apply in the places you get your oilest. No need to be heavy-handed, a little goes a long way.

2. Add bronzing drops to your moisturizer

If a full face of makeup every day is not your thing, but you still want a lasting glow, consider adding bronzing drops to your moisturizer. Though a beat face is great for date night or brunch with the girls, itโ€™s not always ideal for your skin or those days youโ€™re running late to work. Thankfully, there is a simple beauty hack! Simply add a liquid highlighter, an illuminator, or bronzing drops to your daily moisturizer. Remember, you only need a drop or two for your palm size amount of product. Fill in your eyebrows, add a little blush, swipe on some lipgloss, and you are good to go!

3. Mayo and Avocado make a great deep conditioner

For those currently experiencing dry and brittle hair, there may be a fix using ingredients you already have! Throw some mayonnaise, avocado, and a little olive oil into a blender, then apply to your hair for 20-30 minutes and wash it out (Be sure to rinse your hair in the kitchen sink!). This is a great hack for curly girls as it strengthens hair and adds back moisture you may have lost.

4. Use an illuminator under your foundation

How many times have you seen someone on TikTok or Instagram and wondered how they achieved a glow in their makeup? Itโ€™s time you get your glow on too! The secret is to use an illuminator after primer but before foundation. An illuminator is similar to a liquid highlighter but is typically less intense and blends in with your skin tone. You can also use bronzing drops to achieve this hack. We suggest Fenty Beautyโ€™s Eaze Dropโ€™Lit All Over Glow Enhancer.

5. Silk pillows are great for hair AND skin

If you have curly hair, you may have heard advice to use a silk pillowcase to preserve your hairโ€™s health. However, silk pillowcases can do wonders for your skin as well! Standard pillowcases are usually made of a blend of materials, none of which consider your skin. The benefits your hair receives can also apply to your skin. Silk prevents wrinkles as you age and doesnโ€™t dry out your skin. So, even if you donโ€™t have curly hair, you can still benefit.

Beauty routines are vital for our self-confidence and health, but sometimes you just need an easier way to get things done. If you want to switch up some of your beauty practices, consider these five simple beauty hacks!

Which of these simple beauty hacks will you be trying? Let us know in the comments!
