An interesting thing happened when Valentine’s Day came and went. I did a series of posts including Plus Size Lingerie and I also shared some really fancy sets on the FB page that you ATE UP! BUT, one of the most repeated comments I had was about the ranges and sizes. Where to shop for full figured bras was something I was emailed about, messaged, and asked on the page, so I thought to myself… hrmmm… I haven’t done a post on this in a while and needed to do another one!
Why only five? Well, I wanted to keep it short and sweet, because if you wanted all the brands that gave you options, I would direct you to the plus size designers page… However, I wanted to fashion a little post for a few of the online (with some in store) shops that would answer your question of places to shop for Full Figured Bras.
Fun Bra Fact: The average price of a bra is about $65 at higher-end sellers and $13.90 at mass marketers, Citi Research found.
Now what I have done is featured the shops with the widest assortment of sizes and styles. Prices, sizes, shipping, and assortments will vary! And by no way is this exhaustive just a quick digest to get you going!
I hope you find a place to indulge!!
5 Places to Shop for Full Figured Bras
Bare Necessities (from a 28DD to a 56J)
Bare Necessities has quite a vast assortment of bras for your liking and shopping pleasure. They include a few like: Bali, Barely There, Champion, Chantelle, Curvy Kate, Elomi, Enell, Fantasie, Felina, Goddess, La Perla, Le Mystère, Maidenform, Natori, Olga, Panache and many others!
Big Girl Bras (from 28A to 58J)
With over 20 brands and a healthy dedication to cup options, Big Girl Bras has been giving the full figured Bra shoppers more than a few options since 1998! I find they focus more on function than fashion, but that is alright too! We all need great functionable and supportive options!
Cacique (from a 34B to a 54D some up to I cups)
Sexy, playful, and where you can also shop in store, Lane Bryant’s lingerie brand, Cacique has been doing the damn thing in what they offer. While not every style is in every size, there are quite a lot of options!
Full Beauty (from a 34A to a 50N)
Launched a few years ago, Full Beauty was created as the online destination for all of your plus size lingerie needs. With over 35 brands, they have created a space for you to find your perfect bra!
One Stop Plus (from a 34B to a 58J)
Like an online shopping mall for plus size fashion, One Stop Plus gathers almost all of the brands you can think of that cater to your size and house it in one neat little area. From foreign and expensive, to value driven and classic, you can definitely find a few options here!
Have you shopped these sites before? A few new ones? Remember, this was only the places to shop and not the brands! Stay tuned and we will have these for you in a few!
But in the meantime, if you found a place you want to shop form, just click on their name and then hop on over!
What do you think? Options here? You like em?
I highly recommend Essential Body Wear bras. They’re only sold through home parties and online. I’m a 38G or H and their bras are the only ones I’ve ever had that come all the way to my chest between my breasts in the front and keep the girls up where they belong. They are also engineered in a way that puts most of the support in the band instead of on the straps/shoulders. My representative Susan Schmidt Crampton is based in Chicago but travels all around the country catering to nurses, equestrians, and home parties.
Ohhhhhhhhhh good one! I will have to check you guys out!!!
I’m STILL obsessed with my new Ashley Stewart Butterfly Bras!!
YESSSSSS We did a post about this bra a few times over!
figleaves.com is fantastic. Just got a couple of long line optional strapless bras. I wear a 36D or 38DD and my bras fit great. They go up to a 42G in most of their styles.
Yes… thank you for the reminder! You are soooo right!
The Avenue carries them too, not sure if they should be in the top 5 but they have good sales.
