Have you had the chance to check out the denim sold at Addition Elle? Well, I had never had the pleasure of playing in their denim, so when they shot me a pair of William Rast’s for review, I was terribly curious. I have tons of denim and I knew and had been familiar of this brand from my past retail days, so knowing that they NOW exist in plus sizes, I was elated!
So, if you do not know, Addition Elle has been rocking this denim “I have great Genes” contest supporting and celebrating plus size fashion and their assortment of plus size jeans. I am always here for a great pair of them, and today, I get to share with you the fit of the William Rast Jeans I reviewed!
These jeans had quite a few plusses and opportunities for my shape… lol. I will break it down by fit, fabric, and wear!
The William Rast Plus Size Denim Review
Fit
I loved the higher rise of the jeans. They were snug (in a great way) through the thighs and they were also hecka long, and I am a 32 inch inseam, so I cuffed my jeans up twice. I really loved the waist on these jeans!
Fabric
First of all, LOVED the rinse, I do not ever nor have I played around in denim this light of a wash, but I had some fun with this! I paired it with a peplum top and silver flats for a casual chic feel. I had met with a reader to go shopping, so this was the perfect test of wear!
Wear
Although the fit is supposed to be a skinny, these fit me more like a boyfriend, which I LOVED! Meaning, throughout the day, the relaxed, alot! I didn’t mind this, because of the finish and the way I had them styled. I would call them a skinny boyfriend style of jean! LOL
Overall, I definitely will rock these jeans again, as I wore them literally all day and was quite comfy! I do think they should rename these, as they eventually turned into a different style, but since the relaxed version of these worked for me, I was pleased. JUST keep that in mind!
They were so comfy… especially rocking them all day! They did give ALOT, so just be prepared, but because of this shape or cut, it worked out well for me…
Finding plus size designer denim is becoming quite the easy find, thanks to brands and retailers making strategic partnerships! I think I will do a recap/roundup of these designer denim in plus! Ohhh I will! I definitely want to get my curves into a pair of Parasuco jeans!

Have you tried or played in William Rast Jeans? Denim from Addition Elle? Better yet, have you a pair or two of plus size designer denim?
I have two pairs of William Rast jeans/leggings. They are my absolute favourite. Comfortable, flattering and they wear well all day. I am definitely going to go back and check these out at my local Addition Elle. Darn it…another reason to absolutely love Justin Timberlake!
Hehehehe however I can help! 🙂

You are welcome!
I’m thrilled the inseam is actually longer!!!! Yay!
ESPECIALLY for you! Yes, madame! 🙂
Cute! You look great! I’ll have to hit up Addition-Elle when I’m next in Canada.
Have you ever shopped them online?
Those look fantastic! I’m smaller through the thigh and leg (kinda apple-shaped, I guess) so I love denim that hugs. Love your jacket too. *sigh*
Thank you very much Sandy!
Can u link me to those jeans? I may just be tired but I can’t find ’em!
Here you go darlin… First ones on the 1st row: http://thecurvy.me/1bHenBP
Thank you so much for this post, I’ve been having the worst luck with jeans and I bought these based on your reccomendation. Love them! I have a hard time finding plus sized jeans in longer lengths (34 inseam) without having to compromise on the fit. I had just given up on finding a pair I liked (I seriously only owned two pairs of jeans). I’m actually looking forward to purchasing more William Rast jeans in the fututre 🙂
🙂 You are quite welcome madame!
