Earlier this year we told you about the casting Haute & Co Bridal Boutique was hosting! Now we can give you the scoop on what’s happening behind the scenes! True body positivity should be showcased and celebrated. Thanks to Time Inc.’s PeopleTV, curvy women will be getting another form of mainstream positive representation! The Perfect Fit is a six-episode series that follows 12 curvy brides-to-be in search of their perfect wedding gown.

From Authentic Entertainment, The Perfect Fit is filmed in Chicago’s luxury Haute & Co.TM Bridal Boutique. If you’re a friend of the brand, then you already know Haute & Co. Bridal Boutique caters specifically to plus size brides holding intimate bridal consultations for brides sizes 14-32, this summer! Haute & Co.’s owner, Shannelle Armstrong-Fowler refers to her all-female consultants as “fairy godmothers” and ensures that her boutique is a safe space full of body positivity and empowerment in a way that promises a free and enriching bridal shopping experience. Bridal shopping can be very stressful and Haute & Co. makes sure to erase as much of that stress as possible.

Style, Snatch, and Slay

The Perfect Fit will explore the brides as they experience body shaming and will showcase diverse relationships, including both monogamous and polyamorous unions.
