Rawan Ghawi ain’t new to the game, she’s true to the game! She’s been a noted pivotal player in the fashion industry for over a decade, advancing the plus size market and advocating for the plus size customer. She led the worldwide expansion of the Forever 21’s plus size division for seven years and was one of the first plus size members of the buying team for Torrid. Huge deal! Ghawi also previously held positions at Abercrombie and Fitch and Wet Seal.
“Ghawi was a key figure in growing Forever 21’s plus size division. This is not just a job for Rawan. She truly loves what she does and it shows in her work,” Alex Ok, President of Forever 21.

So what inspired her to start RWN by Rawan?
When Ghawi noticed a lack in the marketplace for women like herself, she decided to take matters into her own hands. “With retailers expanding into the plus size space, I still couldn’t find a brand that had the perfect recipe of styling, fit, and quality. I created the line because I wanted to shop for on-trend, well-constructed, quality pieces I could invest a little more in. I took everything that was missing in the marketplace and put it into this line,” Rawan shares.
