Trend Alert!! I think that plus size metallic swimsuits are a HUGE trend for summer 2023, so we thought (as part of the VERY fun plus size swim week), that we would round up some of our very favorite plus size metallic swim options for you!

When shopping for plus size metallic swimsuits, there are a fewwww things to keep in mind! I thought it would be most helpful to share some of my personal tips, before we get started!
My Tips:
- FABRIC CARE: Because the shiny glimmery metallic-y fabric (I know thatโs not a word, but it is now!!!) can be ruined in a machine washer, you want to be sure to follow the care instructions on the label. Many fun and sparkly swim fabrics can only be HAND WASHED and LINE DRIED (please never put your swimsuits in the dryer, EVER!)
- SWIM SIZE CHARTS! Fun fact (orโฆ not-so-fun fact), swim size charts can be DIFFERENT from a brandโs regular size chart. For example, I may be personally use to shopping at a size 22 or 24, and find that Iโm actuallyyyy a size 26 or 28 on the SAME brand when buying SWIM.
- SEPARATES: Listen, we love a plus size one piece swimsuit, but REAL TALK โ swim separates are so fun, and let you mix and match!! If youโve never bought a two piece plus size swimsuit, then I recommend you jump in (see the pool joke there, lol) and purchase your first two piece swimsuit in 2023!
