First Look: Christian Omeshun- The Cosmopolitan Collection

I do love when an indie plus size designer brings us a few new things to play with! I often share that the indie designer is the lifeline of plus size fashion and I still believe this. Think about it! Those who push the envelope, innovate, and think out of the box? Those are the indies. And for the summer, such is the case of Georgia based plus size designer, Christian Omeshun, created by A’Shontay Hubbard! Back for her 3^rd collection, The Cosmopolitan Collection, she has more than a few gems that I want to play and dance in!

What was A’Shontay’s inspiration for The Christian Omeshun Cosmopolitan Collection?

…creating timeless fashions (not trendy) that surrounded the fuller woman. I wanted to show plus women with pear, apple, and rectangle shapes, in sophisticated fashion that some women shy away from.

What I like most about the collection is that most of the pieces can go into fall. Pieces like this don’t go out of style. The can revert into next year’s wardrobe.

I am here for great classics and essentials. I also love when items in my closet last me more than a season of wear, until I am tired of it, not when the garment gets tired of me and falls apart! Are you ready to see what she came up with? Well, please let me share it with you!
