Where are you at in your journey? What has led you to love your curves? What was that pivotal moment for you? A random conversation? Or the result of work you put in, on yourself?
For me, this is a journey that I am still on, one that has only gotten deeper for me this past year. As I read your stories, comments, and questions, I thought long and hard about this; wanting to know other people’s journey into loving their bodies and nurturing the confidence that they display.
Confidence.
A series of steps
This is the journey that I am on… learning how to be more confident in my actions, words, thoughts, and feelings. While I may display characteristics of confidence, there is still a lot that I am working on and I know that I am not alone on this. Right?
Having different conversations with women close to me, it dawned on me that we do not have these types of conversations as much as we should. Being transparent in where and how we fake it; letting the mask fall to speak openly about our mess… we all have it!
And this is where this series begins…
My Curves, My Journey
One where I share where I am at in this journey and one that invites other women like yourself, to share and show who, what, when, where, or how they learned to love themselves- fully.
So, do me a favor! Catch the video above, and let me know what you think and if you can, submit your story and we will feature you.
Seriously, I want to hear from you and ask for you to share YOUR story with us!
How did you learn to love the woman in the mirror?
What relationship showed you yourself?
What actions did you take to get to the woman you are now?
Did an event shape how you live life fully?
I would love to hear about this, how it has impacted and shaped you.
