Currently, I am sleeping in a recliner chair because I do not have a bed. I recently started wearing a CPAP so I am now sleeping 6 to 8 hours a night and am feeling much better. I have been looking for a bed with an adjustable frame that will support me. I have heard of Big Fig but the price is a little out of my range right now so fingers crossed, I win this.

I’m pretty good about getting 8 hours, though my bed of 25 years could certainly use some updating as it is getting a bit slumpy in the middle. Nowadays, there are mattresses suitable for every sleep style, weight, and feel, so it seems everyone can get what they want or need.

How old is your bed? – it’s only 3 years old
Or did you even know that there is a bed specifically made for plus size people?! – I had no idea – but I kinda figured they would have to make one.

I’ve just been thinking about how our current mattress doesn’t cater to being plus size (both me and my husband) we wake up feeling sore and stiff, considering we just got a mattress last year I don’t think this should be happening already, so I have always wanted to try big fig and experience #bigfigmagic being able to get a comfortable full nights sleep would be a miracle!

I have a new mattress, but just cannot sleep next to my husband- I wake him up too much with my tossing and turning, so I normally sleep in the recliner. Maybe a mattress more suited to my size would help.

I’ve gotten less than 4 before. That’s no fun especially at my age. I don’t know how old my mattress is. I spend a lot of time sleeping on the couch though so it’ll probably stay in good shape. I would definitely like to get one more fitting to my sleeping style. I did not know they made beds specifically for plus size people. I have seen mattress reviews where they will test the mattress with a few different sizes of people and rate the mattress for each size.

I don’t get nearly enough sleep, I don’t really track it because I just want to wake up refreshed. My current mattress isn’t too old but it’s definitely not supporting me well. I just deacentkt heard of this brand.

I currently threw away my old mattress because I couldn’t sleep at all. I would be running around in 6-7 hrs of sleep. Always tossing and turning. So we were looking for a new mattress and everything felt the same. I didn’t know there was a plus size mattress until I saw NATALIEINTHECITY post about it.

My mattress is about 8 years old and I only get around 5-6 hours of sleep a night. Between the kids and the hubs working late, I don’t get much sleep and when I do, it’s never as great as I’d hoped.

My husband and I have been getting increasingly less sleep over the last couple of years. We are in our forties, both fluffy folks, and stressed as hell at work. Our mattress definitely contributes to the problem. It is over ten years old.

I need 8 hours but I average 5-6 a night. My mattress is going on 10 years old this year. I’ve heard about big fig a few times from @natalieinthecity and would love to come home to a mattress made with plus size people in mind!!

I’m doing this for my mom who suffers from insomnia due to menopause and other hormonal issues she has. She also has Arthritis and her lower back is always killing her because of that which also causes her to lose sleep. She usually gets about 3-5hrs of sleep but she says she’s always waking up in between. Her bed isn’t old but she says she still doesn’t sleep comfortably and feels like she can never find a good mattress. We both had no clue that mattresses for plus size people existed. By the way, she has no clue I’m doing this for her.

I sleep on a literal piece of foam that was given to me so not sure how old it is. I get anywhere from 6-9 hours depending if it’s my day off or not. I had no idea they made a special mattress for plus size people but I’m dying to try it!

My sleep is all over the place! I normally get 8 or 9 hours of light/ interrupted sleep but lately I’ve been waking up after 5 or 6 hours, it’s the worst! I think the biggest culprit is my ten year old mattress, it is WORN out and I have such a hard time getting comfy now. I had no idea there was a mattress for plus size people, my hubby and I are both, generously sized, and we have our individual indents and lumps in our mattress now.

I usually get 4-8 hours of sleep depending on how many times my back wakes me up. Our mattress is as old as our kiddo so it’s 8 and feeling all 8 years of it’s life. My husband has taken to sleeping on the sofa because he said the bed hurts his back and I don’t blame him! It’s so uncomfortable. I hope I win the new mattress. This mama needs a better, longer nights sleep.

6 hours if I am lucky! My husband thought it would be a good idea to co-sleep with our 1 year old so by the middle of the night he ends up on the couch and I’m up every 2 hours or so to move her or find a pacifier. LOL
