I love seeing new collections come out of the independent plus size designers! They are innovative, playful, bold, and unique. They give us something to look forward to, bring something different, and oftentimes, challenge us to step outside of our boxes into something fun and daring (or at least this is how I see it!). For the Melbourne, Australian designer label, Harlow, this is what they are doing with their newest collection and website!
This season, Harlow brings us three multi capsule collections referencing their musical past, they envision us tuning into the Sports Luxe option with โBorderlineโ as that soundtrack. โSummer Loveโ holds the tune for the BOHO collection while the song, โLove Me or Leave Meโ envelopes the Rock Chic capsule.
Harlowโs Designer and Owner, Kerry Pietrobon, shares that this seasonโs collection allows us to build on our existing plus size wardrobes and/or start fresh with new classic fashion pieces. I am here for all of this.
โEvery Season we think back to what Harlow women already have in their wardrobe and what we can bring to it to take it to the next level. Taking what we know our customer loves and adding to it. For example a version of our Summer Diva O/S tee has been in every range to date, Harlow customers canโt get enough of it, pair it back with our essential wetโn wild scuba leggings or our new launched denim for a perfect rock chick feel. Grab one of our basic tees, and mix it with our Borderline maxi & bomber for a real sports luxe feel.โ

SPORTS LUXEโ With the classic Madonna song โBorderlineโ as inspiration, this collection is pure Sports Luxe. Consisting of the Mesh Bomber jacket, Long-line tee, Mesh Maxi skirt & Crave T-dress โ with classic Harlow pleather finishes.
ROCK CHIC- This collection is full of bold pieces that can stand alone to make a statement โ these pieces are the perfect pieces to take you from Desk to Dinner. Consisting of Romantic escapades shift, Love me or leave me shift with classic pleather details, Summer Diva Oversized top in solid Black & Zig Zag print, and our Summer love hi lo top โ a updated version of the Electra from AW14.
BOHO- โSummer love โ is like no other love, this Sherbet song brings to mind, sunshine & warm evenings, spent walking barefoot along the beach, with the wind in your hair, our Boho collection is perfect to do just that. Consists of Summer Love maxi dress, Sweet Freedom Kimono & Summer Diva maxi dress.
I have my list of faves! Do you? I am here for the sheer midi. MMHMM. All over that. There are a few others that have me excited and I cannot wait to get my hands on them.
