It has been a minute since we have seen something make such an amazing wave of excitement from EVANS! Yesterday, Evans debuted their collection online and at a blogger event in London to rightful excitement. Cut for Evans is the latest venture “unveiling the future of plus size design.”

This capsule collection features two students’ collection and design from Bournemouth and Kingston Universities. Both universities are known for their strong print and knitwear design divisions and two students, Alice Farrow and Rebecca Partington entered the competition to see their designs launched online and at Evans’ flagship store.

And it is HOT. From EVANS, this is a refreshing take on plus size fashion! The excitement reminds me of the excitement around the Beth Ditto collection!

MD – did you end up buying anything from this collection? I’ve been eyeballing it for a while, then went on the Evans website where all the pieces are now 50% off….do you think people were put off by the vibrant prints? I happen to love it but realize it’s not for everyone. Just wanted to get your take….love your blog!

Yeah – I’m thinking about the abstract print tapered pants…I’m going to London in the spring and think they would be great for that….
