What made you want to become a fashion blogger?
I became a fashion blogger to help build confidence in other women and just to share my style. Blogging was something I always wanted to do, but I didn’t have the courage. A friend of mine passed away and it motivated me to go for it… life is too short.
What are the challenges, if any; you face in being petite and plus-size?
The challenge I have as a petite plus size blogger is that clothing items are too long sometimes. Yeah I could get things hemmed, but I would have to be totally in love with the item.
What’s your favorite thing about being petite and plus-size?
My favorite thing about being petite and plus-size is that I’m unique, not all plus size petite girls are the same. When I step out, I turn heads because of the confidence I show. I like the fact that people are so surprised by my personality and self-assurance.
What’s your favorite thing about being a blogger? A petite-plus fashion blogger?
My favorite thing about being a blogger is the impact I have on other women and young girls. I receive personal messages from readers expressing how my blog makes them feel. That is enough satisfaction for me. Even girls who are not plus size are encouraged from the blog. That’s such a big deal.
Who/what are your favorite designers/brands?
I have to be honest, I’m not really a “label” girl. If I like it, I buy it. My favorite places to shop are Forever 21, Target, and H&M. I’m more into designer handbags. Furla, Mchael Kors, and Louis Vuitton are my favorite.
Describe your personal style.
My personal style is trendy and chic.
Any bloggers currently on your radar?
Mia Ray from Confessions of a Glam-aholic; Noel Sade from LeGlam Princess of Curves; and Sandee from Curvenvy.
