We all have our accessories that literally give us life and help us handle our business and today’s post is all about our TCFStyle Expo sponsor, Chevy and my Chevy Cruze! So, if you have been a long-time reader of the Curvy Fashionista, then you may remember when I first got my Chevy Cruze. If not, then no worries! I have been rocking out with my Chevy Cruze since 2011, but even before that, my verrrrrrrrry first car was a 92 Chevy Camaro.
Needless to say, I am a Chevy girl, so when they came on as sponsors for the expo, I was beyond geeked and thrilled and wanted to do this fun little video showing off Peaches! I invited my boo, Rita of Rita’s Radar to hang out and do some shopping with me and we had too much fun doing this!
Meet Peaches, My Chevy Cruze!
Who is Peaches? Well… my car of course. Now, I haven’t the clue where Peaches came from, but ever since I got her, this has been her name! Even funnier with my home now being in Georgia. It is like she knew… all those years ago!
But let me tell you why I am in love with her and why she is one of my most important accessories! Now, she does get me from A to Z, which is a must in a city like Atlanta or throughout California… BUT! She also brought me to Atlanta, cross country! Yes. Comfortably, I might add… and I do NOT like taking long trips via car!
My favorite features of my Chevy Cruze:
- Turbo charged engine
- OnStar built in with XM radio
- UBER Spacious
- Built in USB to charge the phone
What I did not talk about in the video? That is necessary to me in this Atlanta chill (hey, I am a Cali girl, leave me alone)? Remote start and heated leather seats. These two? In the winter? SAVE. MY. LIFE.
While I do not have the Eco version of the Cruze and with these gas prices, I am grateful I get great mileage and can last a bit longer between fill ups!
Add to the fact that I talk with OnStar on a daily, girl my car is one of the needed accessories like my glasses! I need them to thrive! I promise you. There was a time in my life where a car was not needed so much, when I lived in the Bay Area, but now? These past 8 ish years? Ohhhhhhh, I need my car! Hehehe and being still somewhat new(ish) to Georgia and still trying to get my bearings where things are at? My Chevy helps me find new roads around town!
