Unfortunately, the state of plus size wear still has a ways to go. From unflattering patterns to unrealistic display models, the industry has long been known for its superficial representation of bigger bodies. This is why brands that offer fashionable 6X clothing are necessary.

Be it polka dots or pastels, we canโ€™t count the number of โ€œcurvyโ€ manufacturers whose style departments are riddled with lackluster designs and poorly constructed prints that arenโ€™t (super) fat-friendly. Because of this, unhappy consumers are forced to fill the businessesโ€™ emails with complaints that often go unanswered as they continue to promote their (falsified) inclusivity agenda. While itโ€™s not pleasing to think about, many of these companies unfairly prioritize cash over comfort.

Thus, good customer service is (seemingly) non-existent upon addressing these issues, and weโ€™re expected to settle for cheaply-made fabrics that wonโ€™t come past (let alone conceal) the fupa. However, contrary to those disappointments that lie at the intersection(s) of fatphobia and systemic oppression, larger people deserve the same luxury of options as those of smaller sizes.
