    I was initially excited – this looks like such a cute, comfy collection! But upon clicking through I discovered that they’ve created an entirely separate sizing model just for this line, which tops out at only 3x. When I dug a bit deeper and compared the Blogilates size chart to their standard women’s plus size chart, it made me even more angry: They say this Blogilates 3x equates to a 22-24 size, rather than in their standard sizes where 3x is 24-26. If you compare the bust/waist/hip numbers of this new 3x/22-24 to the standard Target plus size measurements via the size chart, you can see it skews just slightly smaller than a standard 3x everywhere except in the hip measurement, which is generous:
    BLOGILATES 3X // STANDARD PLUS 3X
    size = 22-24 // 24-26
    bust = 51-55 inches // 53.5-55.5 inches
    waist = 46-50 inches // 49-51 inches
    hips = 56-60 inches // 57.25-59.5 inches

    I’m just so tired of stores coming up with new sizing models for specific clothing lines, especially because the end result is always smaller clothes and less choices for those of us on the higher end of the scale. It’s hard enough to shop as a large plus size person – most of my shopping has to be online because even plus size places don’t regularly carry my sizes. To help ensure clothing I order online will fit, I have to scour the measurements table, then factor in for stretchiness to determine if something *might fit* (not whether it will look good, but merely if it will fit on my body.)

    I know this site caters to a wide range of plus sizes, and we all just want to find clothes that fit our bodies as well as our souls! But I need to say, it’s so disheartening to see how many designers, brands, and clothing lines this site features that don’t go above a size 22-24 – they’re only paying lip-service to the concept of size inclusivity.
