Did you catch that? Plus size fashion is kicking ass and taking names right now! Another marker for plus size fashion is Evans who showcased their Design Collective for Evans (including their latest score, Cut for Evans) with sooo many familiar faces and names sashaying down the runway during London Fashion Week. Now if you aren’t familiar with Cut for Evans, you MUST get acquainted fast!
This past spring, Evans debuted “Cut for Evans,” a capsule collection that showcases fashion from design students challenged to bring something new and fresh to the plus size woman in a competition setting. And out the gate, they wowed. Many were in love, some were on the fence and others were timid of the boldness of the prints. Me? I was here for it all. It excited me, inspired me, and moved me to smiles.
Well, for this season, Evans stepped it up even more. They showed at London Fashion Week! Yesterday to be exact! What did they show? Why did they show? Well, this is what they shared on the Evans site:
“Design Collective for Evans brings together a handpicked selection of renowned fashion designers, brand new breakthrough designers, the latest winners of the acclaimed Cut for Evans design competition and our exclusive in house designs. The exclusive catwalk event shows that high fashion is for all.”
What did they show? Well, if you missed it, didn’t know about it, or are just curious, I have the link to share with you! Are you ready? I am!
