This exciting event weekend, brainchild of the fabulous Adrienne Ray, Donnelle Jageman, and Kenyetta Harris, is coming back to the University of Arts in Center City, Philadelphia, this October 18th-20th, 2024. And let me tell you, it promises to be even bigger and better than last year’s smash hit!

Remember how we craved spaces and events designed specifically for fat folks, by fat folks? Well, Philly FatCon is here to deliver! This event is a celebration of our amazing bodies, a chance to connect with a like-minded community, and a platform for all things fat-positive.

Inspiring Speakers: Buckle up for a lineup of incredible speakers ready to empower and inform you on topics that matter most to the plus size community. From body image to health and wellness with a fat-positive lens, these talks will ignite your fire and leave you feeling unstoppable.

Move Your Magnificence: Let’s get those bodies moving, shall we? Philly FatCon boasts movement classes designed specifically for larger bodies. It’s all about celebrating joyful movement, not restrictive exercise routines. So, find your groove, own your space, and feel the liberation of moving your remarkable self!

Shop ’til You Drop: Calling all shopaholics (and honestly, who isn’t one at heart?) The marketplace at Philly FatCon is a haven for plus-size fashionistas. Over 30 vendors will be showcasing their wares, so get ready to discover new brands, find the perfect outfit to slay that fall look, and treat yourself to some well-deserved retail therapy!

Party Like There’s No Tomorrow: Because there’s nothing quite like celebrating with your newfound Philly FatCon fam! Get ready to shimmy and shake at the costume party on Saturday night. There’ll be fat burlesque performances, a special musical guest (who could it be?), and costume contests galore! Let your inner fashion icon shine (and maybe snag that best-dressed trophy!).

The Curvy Clothes Caper Continues: Calling all fashionistas with overflowing closets (we’ve all been there)! The fourth annual Philly Plus Swap is your chance to declutter, refresh your wardrobe, and score some amazing finds – all in plus sizes! There’ll be shopping, swapping, Onsite mending services – you can drop off your items from home or something you find in the swap to be mended or altered. No DIY required! Prices will vary but services are completed by professional sewists, and a fashion panel discussion to learn and gain fashion tips and tricks.
