Okay, so yes, I am afraid of plus size skater skirts, I have this hesitation and fear of them, BUT I am working on this AND I love the way that folks rock them! I even shared this with you in my past ask the reader post!
HOWEVER, I have found quite a few that I have wanted to test out and play in and today, I have rounded up a few that have my attention and that I have given serious thought to.
Worn with sweatshirts, crop tops, button up blouses, sweaters, sheer insets- the skater skirt offers such versatility and I need to get over this fear of feeling like a cheerleader (maybe this is why since I was one for over 10 years). Black leather or cotton blended ones seem to be the easiest entry into this style, but there are quite a few other variations that have me intrigued.
So today, I have rounded up for you ten fashionable plus size skater skirt options for the fall and winter season!
10 Plus Size Skater Skirts for Fall Fashion
See one you like? They are linked in order in teal here:
Forever 21 Plus Size Tapestry Skater Skirt, Forever 21 Plus Size Pleated Skater Skirt, Addition Elle MXM Plus Size Velvet Skater Skirt, ASOS Curve Foil Block Hem Skater Skirt, Torrid Plus Size Lace Overlay Skater Skirt, ASOS Curve Leather Skater Skirt, ASOS CURVE Exclusive Tailored Skater Skirt, Simply Be AX Paris Plus Size PU Skater Skirt, ASOS Curve Velvet Skater Skirt, Forever 21 Plus Size Forget Me Not Skater Skirt
What do you think about these options? DO you already have a few of these? How do you wear yours? As you can see, I have tons of questions about these and that much more fascination with them.
I strongly abide by the Fingertip rule. The skirt or dress has to pass the fingertips clearly in order for me to rock!
Most recently I have both the Asos Curve tailored one and the Simply Be Pleather skater skirt. We shall see how I conquer this hesitation and fear of rocking it- DAMMIT I WILL! LOL
