A few days ago, Patrice from Afrobella, Sarah from Style It Online, and I were in chats on Twitter when we had an epiphany.
Each season Target fosters the most innovative and creative designer collaborations and almost never if ever includes their collections in plus sizes! After moments of gazing at fabulous garments- only not to be had in our sizes, Patrice, Sarah, and I decided to create an online petition AND open letters to Target on our sites. I mean, who doesn’t love Target? LOL Yes, we have Pure Energy, but what about all the fabulous designer collaborations that stop at a 13/15?
So, we decided to do something about it. Starting today, we will post, repost, share, and tweet our petition to Target, and I am reaching to you for your support.
How?
I wrote an open letter and created a petition to share and show our passion and conviction.
If you wish to see more plus size fashion at our beloved Target, we ask that you share with your readers, friends, and family via a post, tweet, or Facebook post, this petition. We believe that if we shout loud enough together, then we will have our voices heard. Please join us on this, so we can positively impact plus size fashion.
Who knows?
But a closed mouth does not get fed!
Please visit our petition to sign and show your support for the same luxuries afforded to us- the curvy, fat, full figured , and plus sized fashionistas.
I signed! let’s get our voices heard ladies!
Posted on FB already! But I will be doing a feature post on my blog!!! I LOVE that you are doing this…united we stand, divided we fall! 🙂
You got my suppoprt. Every time I go to my Target the plus size section seems to be reduced by 1 rack!
