Hey Girl, Hey!
Can we talk about shoes a bit more? a few of you have asked about shoes to rock, those that are comfortable (we hear you and listen!) Earlier this week, we talked about wide calf gladiators and today? We are talking about another shoe trend we love! They say some fashion trends tend to always make a comeback over time? Well I’m pretty much a firm believer of this notion. While some styles can become classics and transcend over time, others tend to go away, sit a spell, and wait for their return to glory. This is what’s happening now with the return of some 70’s trends and I’m kind of digging it, especially as it pertains to the comfort of my feet! Shoes, honey! I am talking about platforms, stacked heels, and wedges!
Now, while pieces of 70’s fashion has made it’s way back to our closets this summer, from crochet tops and tie dye tees to accessories like oversized sunglasses and fringes handbags, I am here for both the fashion and functionality of the 70’s footwear that the platforms and wooden stacked heels bring. Not only are they uber nice to your feet, but these platforms and chunky heel sandals work so well with everything this summer season. You can rock them with shorts, skinny jeans, maxi dress, rompers and so much more!
So we rounded up a few finds for you to rock out with, are you ready?

That’s right, the 70’s platforms and chunky wooden heel sandals have returned this summer and I’m kind of loving it. Mainly because I’m a bit of a klutz and after my stumble on some stairs a couple years ago in heels; platforms, wedges and stack bottoms have been a great addition to my shoe collection.
Not only are they super cute and hella comfortable, they’re super easy to walk in for a couple hours. Which means those summer days with activities and events that require tons of walking and standing won’t be so hard! Your feet will thank you.
Are you diggin these options? How cute would a few of these look with a simple white linen shirt dress?
