Jessie’s journey into content creation began in a world of storytelling and imagination. “I actually got started as a Disneybounder, putting together outfits inspired by Disney characters,” she recalls. “It was such a fun way to express myself, connect with others who shared the same love for creativity, and explore fashion through a playful lens.”
What began as themed outfits soon evolved into something deeper. Jessie’s passion for creativity and community grew into a digital space where authenticity reigns supreme. “Now, I use my platform to share daily style, body confidence, and honest glimpses into life as a plus size creator,” she explains. “My goal is to help others feel seen, capable, and beautiful… not when they change, but exactly as they are right now.”
Jessie Coalter Price’s feed is filled with color, comfort, and confidence, but it is her message that resonates most: “Confidence isn’t about fitting a mold. It’s about taking up space, finding joy, and embracing who you are in full color.”
When One Post Changed Everything
For years, Jessie posted from the heart, even when traction was slow. Then, a single moment transformed her connection with her audience.
“Just over a month ago, I shared a post that went viral,” she says. “It was one of those rare moments where something deeply personal connected with thousands of people at once. My inbox was full of messages from people who related to my experience and thanked me for saying what they had always felt but never put into words.”
The moment reaffirmed why she creates. “There were definitely times I wanted to give up,” Jessie admits. “But when that post took off, it wasn’t about numbers or reach. It was proof that my words and presence were helping others feel seen. That’s when I knew I was truly making an impact.”
Style That Feels Like Freedom
Jessie’s personal aesthetic? “Soft-bodied baddie energy, colorful, comfy, confident,” she says with a grin. Her wardrobe is a celebration of joy, movement, and individuality. “I’m inspired by the fearless weirdness of Sarah Sherman from SNL, the constant evolution of Lady Gaga, and the creativity of drag queens,” she shares. “I love the effortless, comfy-preppy vibe of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and the quirky femininity of Jessica Day from New Girl.”
Her style is playful yet purposeful, blending color and comfort with unapologetic confidence. “Confidence doesn’t come from perfection,” Jessie says. “It comes from owning exactly who you are.”
Challenging Beauty Standards
Jessie Coalter Price’s platform is more than fashion… it’s activism wrapped in style and storytelling. “I use my platform to normalize existing in a bigger body, not as a before photo or a transformation story, but as a full, joyful, worthy human being,” she explains.
Through her photos and captions, she challenges outdated ideas about what plus-size fashion should be. “I show up exactly as I am,” Jessie says. “Soft arms out. Belly showing. Unapologetically present.”
And she doesn’t shy away from calling out the industry’s shortcomings. “One thing I wish more brands understood is that excluding plus size consumers is a choice, not a limitation,” she says. “There’s no good reason inclusive sizing isn’t standard practice, especially when 67 percent of women are a size 14 or above. We hike, we move, we sweat, and we deserve clothes that empower us while we do it.”
Her Go-To Confidence Tips
When it comes to styling, Jessie keeps it real. “Bike shorts are your best friend,” she insists. “I wear them under dresses, long shirts, overalls, to the gym, anywhere life takes me. Once you start wearing them, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without them.”
Her go-to styling mantra is simple yet powerful. “Is there something you’ve always wanted to wear but feel like you can’t?” she asks. “I hear that all the time. And my response is always, do you really think that… or did society make you believe it? Because you can pull off anything you want to.”
Her biggest style pet peeve? “When boring trends take over and suddenly everyone looks the same,” she says. “Fashion should be about expression, not assimilation.”
Brands That Empower
Jessie lights up when she talks about brands that get it. “Dressed in LALA makes me feel unstoppable,” she shares. “Their bold colors, playful designs, and oversized fits that actually work for plus size bodies make getting dressed feel fun and empowering.”
She also credits ASOS for its versatility and loves Nike and Girlfriend Collective for championing inclusivity and sustainability in activewear. “Feeling strong, seen, and comfortable in my clothes is what makes me feel unstoppable and these brands make that possible.”
Looking ahead, she’s manifesting more collaborations. “I’d love to partner with Pacifica Beauty, TrewGear, Alpine Swimwear, and other gear brands that create plus size friendly apparel and equipment,” she says.
Redefining Influence
For Jessie, influence is not about follower count, it’s about connection. “I define influence as the ability to make people feel seen, understood, and inspired to be more themselves,” she says. “It’s not about numbers or perfection. It’s about connection.”
Her content may be rooted in style, but its impact is emotional and cultural. “Real influence happens when someone watches your content and thinks, ‘If she can show up as she is, maybe I can too.’”
A Message to Her Followers
Jessie’s message to her community is heartfelt and clear. “I hope people leave my page feeling seen, inspired, and a little lighter,” she says. “I want them to know it’s okay to take up space, to exist as they are right now…soft, strong, messy, growing, and that they’re not alone in figuring it all out.”
Her ultimate goal is simple yet radical: to help people believe they are already enough. “You don’t have to change to be worthy,” Jessie says. “You already are.”
