When news broke of this collaboration, I was immediately hyped for the homie, Nicolette Mason and her upcoming collaboration with an uber fave Canadian Retailer, Addition Elle! I have been on edge, waiting to see what would come of this collab and today, news broke over on Refinery 29 and I had to share this with you!
If you are not familiar, Nicolette Mason, who pens the plus size column for Marie Claire and who is also a Parsons graduate has consistently been lending her education, style aesthetic, and voice to and for the plus size woman and today, we add a second seven-piece design collab (once again- remember ModCloth?) to her resume!
On her uber sweet, sultry, and feminine collection, Nicolette shares with Refinery 29:
“It was only ever conceived of as a dress collection, and that made sense to me, since I am really a skirts and dresses girl!
Dresses are the cornerstone of my wardrobe and I love styling around them… with Addition Elle, we created dresses that were really comfortable, classic, but had updated details and were made for wearing in real life — that means you can wear your go-to bra; some of the dresses have pockets, and they don’t demand crazy shapewear.
The idea was to create beautiful dresses that could fulfill a variety of needs — whether it be to work, for date night, as a guest at a wedding, or even prom.”

First Look at the Nicolette Mason x Addition Elle Collection
How sweet is this collection? A few perfect day dresses, wear to work options, and a few date night picks too! I need that black strappy lace dress. STAT.
I am so happy for her and this collection! So excited about this! If you are looking for a few nice plus size dresses, this collection is it!
The collection will feature seven dresses in sizes 12-24 this February at select Lord & Taylor stores and online at additionelle.com!
Are you excited and hyped about this too? Let’s discuss!
These are some beautiful dresses. I especially love that first hot pink one. It was such a pleasure to meet Nicolette at an LA event this last summer where I was able to purchase a skirt from her closet. She is so sweet!
